Matthew 24

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

A wyszedłszy Jezus z kościoła szedł; i przystąpili uczniowie jego, aby mu ukazali budowanie kościelne.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

I rzekł im Jezus: Izaż nie widzicie tego wszystkiego? Zaprawdę powiadam wam, nie zostanie tu kamień na kamieniu, który by nie był rozwalony.

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

A gdy siedział na górze oliwnej, przystąpili do niego uczniowie osobno, mówiąc: Powiedz nam, kiedy się to stanie, i co za znak przyjścia twego i dokonania świata?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

I odpowiadając Jezus, rzekł im: Patrzcie, aby was kto nie zwiódł.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Albowiem wiele ich przyjdzie pod imieniem mojem, mówiąc: Jam jest Chrystus; i wiele ich zwiodą.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

I usłyszycie wojny i wieści o wojnach; patrzcież, abyście sobą nie trwożyli; albowiem musi to wszystko być, ale jeszcze nie tu jest koniec.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Albowiem powstanie naród przeciwko narodowi, i królestwo przeciwko królestwu, i będą głody i mory i trzęsienia ziemi miejscami.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Ale to wszystko jest początkiem boleści.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Ale kto wytrwa aż do końca, ten zbawion będzie.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Przetoż gdy ujrzycie obrzydliwość spustoszenia, opowiedzianą przez Danijela proroka, stojącą na miejscu świętem, (kto czyta, niechaj uważa),

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Tedy ci, co będą w ziemi Judzkiej, niech uciekają na góry;

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

A kto na dachu, niechaj nie zstępuje, aby co wziął z domu swego;

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

A kto na roli, niech się nazad nie wraca, aby wziął szaty swe.

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

A biada brzemiennym i piersiami karmiącym w one dni!

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Przetoż módlcie się, aby nie było uciekanie wasze w zimie, albo w sabat.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Albowiem naonczas będzie wielki ucisk, jaki nie był od początku świata aż dotąd, ani potem będzie.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

A gdyby nie były skrócone one dni, nie byłoby zbawione żadne ciało: ale dla wybranych będą skrócone one dni.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

Tedy jeźliby wam kto rzekł: Oto tu jest Chrystus, albo tam, nie wierzcie.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Albowiem powstaną fałszywi Chrystusowie, i fałszywi prorocy, i czynić będą znamiona wielkie i cuda, tak iżby zwiedli (by można) i wybrane.

Behold, I have told you before.

Otom wam przepowiedział.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

Jeźliby wam tedy rzekli: Oto na puszczy jest, nie wychodźcie; oto w komorach, nie wierzcie.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Albowiem jako błyskawica wychodzi od wschodu słońca i ukazuje się aż na zachód, tak będzie i przyjście Syna człowieczego.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Bo gdziekolwiek będzie ścierw, tam się zgromadzą i orły.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

A zaraz po utrapieniu onych dni słońce się zaćmi, a księżyc nie da jasności swojej, i gwiazdy będą padać z nieba, i mocy niebieskie poruszą się.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Tedyć się ukaże znamię Syna człowieczego na niebie, a tedy będą narzekać wszystkie pokolenia ziemi, i ujrzą Syna człowieczego, przychodzącego na obłokach niebieskich, z mocą i z chwałą wielką;

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

I pośle Anioły swoje z trąbą głosu wielkiego, i zgromadzą wybrane jego od czterech wiatrów, od krajów niebios aż do krajów ich.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

A od drzewa figowego nauczcie się tego podobieństwa: Gdy się już gałąź jego odmładza i liście wypuszcza, poznajecie, iż blisko jest lato.

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Także i wy, gdy ujrzycie to wszystko, poznawajcie, iż blisko jest, a we drzwiach.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Zaprawdę powiadam wam, że nie przeminie ten wiek, ażby się to wszystko stało.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Niebo i ziemia przeminą, ale słowa moje nie przeminą.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

A o onym dniu i godzinie nikt nie wie, ani Aniołowie niebiescy, tylko sam Ojciec mój.

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Ale jako było za dni Noego, tak będzie i przyjście Syna człowieczego.

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

Albowiem jako za dni onych przed potopem jedli, i pili, i ożeniali się i za mąż wydawali, aż do onego dnia, którego wszedł Noe do korabia,

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

I nie spostrzegli się, aż przyszedł potop i zabrał wszystkie: tak będzie i przyjście Syna człowieczego.

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Tedy będą dwaj na roli; jeden będzie wzięty, a drugi zostawiony;

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Dwie będą mleć we młynie; jedna będzie wzięta, a druga zostawiona;

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Czujcież tedy, ponieważ nie wiecie, której godziny Pan wasz przyjdzie.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

A to wiedzcie, że, gdyby wiedział gospodarz, o której straży złodziej ma przyjść, wżdyby czuł, i nie dałby podkopać domu swego.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Przetoż i wy bądźcie gotowi; bo której się godziny nie spodziejecie, Syn człowieczy przyjdzie.

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

Któryż tedy jest sługa wierny i roztropny, którego postanowił pan jego nad czeladzią swoją, aby im dawał pokarm na czas słuszny?

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Błogosławiony on sługa, którego by, przyszedłszy Pan jego, znalazł tak czyniącego;

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Zaprawdę powiadam wam, że go nad wszystkiemi dobrami swemi postanowi.

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

A jeźliby rzekł on zły sługa w sercu swojem: Odwłacza pan mój z przyjściem swojem;

And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

I począłby bić spółsługi, a jeść i pić z pijanicami:

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

Przyjdzie pan sługi onego, dnia, którego się nie spodzieje, i godziny, której nie wie;

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

I odłączy go, a część jego położy z obłudnikami; tam będzie płacz i zgrzytanie zębów.
