Galatians 1

Paul, an apostle, (not of men, neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who raised him from the dead;)

Paweł, Apostoł (nie od ludzi, ani przez człowieka, ale przez Jezusa Chrystusa i Boga Ojca, który go wzbudził od umarłych;)

And all the brethren which are with me, unto the churches of Galatia:

I wszyscy bracia, którzy są ze mną, zborom Galackim.

Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

Łaska wam i pokój niech będzie od Boga Ojca i Pana naszego, Jezusa Chrystusa.

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Który wydał samego siebie za grzechy nasze, aby nas wyrwał z teraźniejszego wieku złego według woli Boga i Ojca naszego;

To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Któremu niech będzie chwała na wieki wieków. Amen.

I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Dziwuję się, iż tak prędko dacie się przenosić od tego, który was powołał ku łasce Chrystusowej, do inszej Ewangielii;

Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

Która nie jest inszą; tylko niektórzy są, co was turbują i chcą wywrócić Ewangieliję Chrystusową.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Ale choćbyśmy i my, albo Anioł z nieba opowiadał wam Ewangieliję mimo tę, którąśmy wam opowiadali, niech będzie przeklęty.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Jakośmy przedtem powiedzieli i teraz znowu mówię: Jeźliby wam kto inną Ewangieliję opowiadał mimo tę, którąście przyjęli, niech będzie przeklęty.

For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

Albowiem terazże do ludzi was namawiam, czyli do Boga? Albo szukamli, abym się podobał ludziom? Zaiste, jeźlibym się jeszcze ludziom chciał podobać, nie byłbym sługą Chrystusowym.

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

A oznajmuję wam bracia! iż Ewangielija, która jest opowiadana ode mnie, nie jest według człowieka.

For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Albowiem ja anim jej wziął, anim się jej nauczył od człowieka, ale przez objawienie Jezusa Chrystusa.

For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

Boście słyszeli o mojem obcowaniu niekiedy w Żydostwie, żem nader prześladował zbór Boży i burzyłem go;

And profited in the Jews' religion above many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.

I postępowałem w Żydostwie nad wiele rówieśników moich w narodzie moim, będąc nader gorliwym miłośnikiem ustaw moich ojczystych.

But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me by his grace,

Ale gdy się upodobało Bogu, który mię odłączył z żywota matki mojej, i powołał z łaski swojej,

To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus.

Anim się wrócił do Jeruzalemu, do tych, którzy przede mną byli Apostołami, alem szedł do Arabii i wróciłem się zasię do Damaszku.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days.

Potem po trzech latach wstąpiłem do Jeruzalemu, abym się ujrzał z Piotrem; i mieszkałem u niego piętnaście dni.

But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

A inszegom z Apostołów nie widział, oprócz Jakóba, brata Pańskiego.

Now the things which I write unto you, behold, before God, I lie not.

A co wam piszę, oto się przed Bogiem oświadczam, żeć nie kłamię.

Afterwards I came into the regions of Syria and Cilicia;

Zatemem przyszedł do krain Syryi i Cylicyi;

And was unknown by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ:

A byłem nieznajomym z twarzy zborom żydowskim, które są w Chrystusie;

But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

Lecz tylko byli usłyszeli, iż ten, który prześladował nas niekiedy, teraz opowiada wiarę, którą przedtem burzył. I chwalili Boga ze mnie.

And they glorified God in me.
