I Corinthians 5

It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

Efa re marina fa misy fijangajangana atỳ aminareo, eny, dia fijangajangana izay tsy misy tahaka azy na dia amin'ny jentilisa asa, fa misy anankiray manambady ny vadin-drainy.

And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

Ary ianareo indray va no mirehareha, ka tsy nampalahelo anareo akory izany, mba hesorina tsy ho ao aminareo ilay nanao izany zavatra izany?

For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

Fa izaho, na dia tsy teo aza ny tenako, nefa teo ihany ny fanahiko, dia efa nitsara sahady an'ilay nanao toy izany, tahaka ny teo ihany aho:

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

amin'ny anaran'i Jesosy Tompontsika - rehefa tafangona ianareo sy ny fanahiko omban'ny herin'i Jesosy Tompontsika -

To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

hanolotra izany anankiray izany ho an'i Satana hanimbana ny nofo, mba hamonjena ny fanahy amin'ny andron'i Jesosy Tompo.

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Tsy mety ny fireharehanareo. Tsy fantatrareo va fa ny masirasira kely dia mahazo ny vongana rehetra?

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

Esory ny masirasira ela, mba ho vongana vaovao ianareo, araka izay tsy maha-misy masirasira anareo. Fa voavono Kristy, Paska ho antsika;

Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

ka dia aoka isika hanao andro firavoravoana, tsy amin'ny masirasira ela, na amin'ny masirasira lolompo sy faharatsiana, fa amin'ny mofo tsy misy masirasira, dia ny fahadiovam-po sy ny fahamarinana.

I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

Nanoratra taminareo teo amin'ny epistily aho mba tsy hiharoharoanareo amin'izay mpijangajanga;

Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

nefa tsy ny mpijangajanga rehetra amin'izao tontolo izao, na ny mpierina sy ny mpanao an-keriny, na ny mpanompo sampy; fa raha izany, dia tsy maintsy miala amin'izao tontolo izao ianareo.

But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

Fa ny nanoratako taminareo, dia ny mba tsy hiharoharoanareo aminy, raha misy atao hoe rahalahy, nefa mpijangajanga, na mpierina, na mpanompo sampy, na mpanaratsy, na mpimamo, na mpanao an-keriny, dia aza miara-mihinana akory amin'ny toy izany ianareo.

For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

Fa ahoako ny hitsara ny any ivelany? Tsy ny ao anatiny va no tsarainareo?

But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Fa ny any ivelany dia tsarain'Andriamanitra. Esory aminareo ilay mpanao ratsy.
