Psalms 46

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

परमेश्वर हमारे पराक्रम का भण्डार है। संकट के समय हम उससे शरण पा सकते हैं।

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

इसलिए जब धरती काँपती है और जब पर्वत समुद्र में गिरने लगता है, हमको भय नही लगता।

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

हम नहीं डरते जब सागर उफनते और काले हो जाते हैं, और धरती और पर्वत काँपने लगते हैं।

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

वहाँ एक नदी है, जो परम परमेश्वर के नगरी को अपनी धाराओं से प्रसन्नता से भर देती है।

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

उस नगर में परमेश्वर है, इसी से उसका कभी पतन नही होगा। परमेश्वर उसकी सहायता भोर से पहले ही करेगा।

The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

यहोवा के गरजते ही, राष्ट्र भय से काँप उठेंगे। उनकी राजधानियों का पतन हो जाता है और धरती चरमरा उठती हैं।

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

सर्वशक्तिमान यहोवा हमारे साथ है। याकूब का परमेश्वर हमारा शरणस्थल है।

Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth.

आओ उन शक्तिपूर्ण कर्मो को देखो जिन्हें यहोवा करता है। वे काम ही धरती पर यहोवा को प्रसिद्ध करते हैं।

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

यहोवा धरती पर कहीं भी हो रहे युद्धों को रोक सकता है। वे सैनिक के धनुषों को तोड़ सकता है। और उनके भालों को चकनाचूर कर सकता है। रथों को वह जलाकर भस्म कर सकता है।

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

परमेश्वर कहता है, “शांत बनो और जानो कि मैं ही परमेश्वर हूँ! राष्ट्रों के बीच मेरी प्रशंसा होगी। धरती पर मेरी महिमा फैल जायेगी!”

The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

यहोवा सर्वशाक्तिमान हमारे साथ है। याकूब का परमेश्वर हमारा शरणस्थल है।
