Psalms 149

Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

यहोवा के गुण गाओ। उन नयी बातों के विषय में एक नया गीत गाओ जिनको यहोवा ने किया है। उसके भक्तों की मण्डली में उसका गुण गान करो।

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

परमेश्वर ने इस्राएल को बनाया। यहोवा के संग इस्राएल हर्ष मनाए। सिय्योन के लोग अपने राजा के संग में आनन्द मनाएँ।

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

वे लोग परमेश्वर का यशगान नाचते बजाते अपने तम्बुरों, वीणाओ से करें।

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

यहोवा निज भक्तों से प्रसन्न है। परमेश्वर ने एक अद्भुत कर्म अपने विनीत जन के लिये किया। उसने उनका उद्धार किया।

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

परमेश्वर के भक्तों, तुम निज विजय मनाओं! यहाँ तक कि बिस्तर पर जाने के बाद भी तुम आनन्दित रहो।

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

लोग परमेश्वर का जयजयकार करें और लोग निज तलवारें अपने हाथों में धारण करें।

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

वे अपने शत्रुओं को दण्ड देने जायें। और दूसरे लोगों को वे दण्ड देने को जायें,

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

परमेश्वर के भक्त उन शासकों और उन प्रमुखों को जंजीरो से बांधे।

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

परमेश्वर के भक्त अपने शत्रुओं को उसी तरह दण्ड देंगे, जैसा परमेश्वर ने उनको आदेश दिया। परमेश्वर के भक्तो यहोवा का आदरपूर्ण गुणगान करो।
