Psalms 146

146:1

Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

यहोवा का गुण गान कर! मेरे मन, यहोवा की प्रशंसा कर।

146:2

While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

मैं अपने जीवन भर यहोवा के गुण गाऊँगा। मैं अपने जीवन भर उसके लिये यश गीत गाऊँगा।

146:3

Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.

अपने प्रमुखों के भरोसे मत रहो। सहायता पाने को व्यक्ति के भरोसे मत रहो, क्योंकि तुमको व्यक्ति बचा नहीं सकता है।

146:4

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

लोग मर जाते हैं और गाड़ दिये जाते है। फिर उनकी सहायता देने की सभी योजनाएँ यूँ ही चली जाती है।

146:5

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:

जो लोग, याकूब के परमेश्वर से अति सहायता माँगते, वे अति प्रसन्न रहते हैं। वे लोग अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा के भरोसे रहा करते हैं।

146:6

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

यहोवा ने स्वर्ग और धरती को बनाया है। यहोवा ने सागर और उसमें की हर वस्तु बनाई है। यहोवा उनको सदा रक्षा करेगा।

146:7

Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:

जिन्हें दु:ख दिया गया, यहोवा ऐसे लोगों के संग उचित बात करता है। यहोवा भूखे लोगों को भोजन देता है। यहोवा बन्दी लोगों को छुड़ा दिया करता है।

146:8

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

यहोवा के प्रताप से अंधे फिर देखने लग जाते हैं। यहोवा उन लोगों को सहारा देता जो विपदा में पड़े हैं। यहोवा सज्जन लोगों से प्रेम करता है।

146:9

The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.

यहोवा उन परदेशियों की रक्षा किया करता है जो हमारे देश में बसे हैं। यहोवा अनाथों और विधवाओं का ध्यान रखता है किन्तु यहोवा दुर्जनों के कुचक्र को नष्ट करता हैं।

146:10

The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.

यहोवा सदा राज करता रहे! सिय्योन तुम्हारा परमेश्वर पर सदा राज करता रहे! यहोवा का गुणगान करो!
