Psalms 50

The mighty God, even the LORD, hath spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.

Der Mächtige, Gott, Jehova, hat geredet und die Erde gerufen vom Aufgang der Sonne bis zu ihrem Niedergang.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

Aus Zion, der Schönheit Vollendung, ist Gott hervorgestrahlt.

Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Unser Gott kommt, und er wird nicht schweigen; Feuer frißt vor ihm her, und rings um ihn stürmt es gewaltig.

He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

Er ruft dem Himmel droben und der Erde, um sein Volk zu richten:

Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.

"Versammelt mir meine Frommen, die meinen Bund geschlossen haben beim Opfer!"

And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.

Und die Himmel verkünden seine Gerechtigkeit, denn Gott ist es, der richtet. (Sela.)

Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against thee: I am God, even thy God.

"Höre, mein Volk, und ich will reden, Israel, und ich will wider dich zeugen! Ich, ich bin Gott, dein Gott.

I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.

Nicht wegen deiner Schlachtopfer tadle ich dich, und deine Brandopfer sind beständig vor mir.

I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds.

Nicht werde ich Farren nehmen aus deinem Hause, noch Böcke aus deinen Hürden.

For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

Denn mein ist alles Getier des Waldes, das Vieh auf tausend Bergen.

I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.

Ich kenne alles Gevögel der Berge, und das Wild des Gefildes ist mir bekannt.

If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.

Wenn mich hungerte, ich würde es dir nicht sagen: denn mein ist der Erdkreis und seine Fülle.

Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

Sollte ich das Fleisch von Stieren essen und das Blut von Böcken trinken?

Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

Opfere Gott Lob, und bezahle dem Höchsten deine Gelübde;

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Und rufe mich an am Tage der Bedrängnis: ich will dich erretten, und du wirst mich verherrlichen!"

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth?

Zu dem Gesetzlosen aber spricht Gott: "Was hast du meine Satzungen herzusagen und meinen Bund in deinen Mund zu nehmen?

Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

Du hast ja die Zucht gehaßt und hinter dich geworfen meine Worte.

When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers.

Wenn du einen Dieb sahst, so gingst du gern mit ihm um, und dein Teil war mit Ehebrechern.

Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.

Deinen Mund ließest du los zum Bösen, und Trug flocht deine Zunge.

Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

Du saßest da, redetest wider deinen Bruder, wider den Sohn deiner Mutter stießest du Schmähung aus.

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

Solches hast du getan, und ich schwieg; du dachtest, ich sei ganz wie du. Ich werde dich strafen und es dir vor Augen stellen."

Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.

Merket doch dieses, die ihr Gottes vergesset, damit ich nicht zerreiße, und kein Erretter sei da!

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.

Wer Lob opfert, verherrlicht mich, und wer seinen Weg einrichtet, ihn werde ich das Heil Gottes sehen lassen.
