Malachi 4

For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

Denn siehe, der Tag kommt, brennend wie ein Ofen; und es werden alle Übermütigen und jeder Täter der Gesetzlosigkeit zu Stoppeln werden; und der kommende Tag wird sie verbrennen, spricht Jehova der Heerscharen, so daß er ihnen weder Wurzel noch Zweig lassen wird.

But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Aber euch, die ihr meinen Namen fürchtet, wird die Sonne der Gerechtigkeit aufgehen mit Heilung in ihren Flügeln. Und ihr werdet ausziehen und hüpfen gleich Mastkälbern;

And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

und ihr werdet die Gesetzlosen zertreten, denn sie werden Asche sein unter euren Fußsohlen an dem Tage, den ich machen werde, spricht Jehova der Heerscharen.

Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Gedenket des Gesetzes Moses, meines Knechtes, welches ich ihm auf Horeb an ganz Israel geboten habe-Satzungen und Rechte.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:

Siehe, ich sende euch Elia, den Propheten, ehe der Tag Jehovas kommt, der große und furchtbare.

And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Und er wird das Herz der Väter zu den Kindern, und das Herz der Kinder zu ihren Vätern wenden, auf daß ich nicht komme und das Land mit dem Banne schlage.
