Genesis 10

Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

Und dies sind die Geschlechter der Söhne Noahs, Sem, Ham und Japhet: es wurden ihnen Söhne geboren nach der Flut.

The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

Die Söhne Japhets: Gomer und Magog und Madai und Jawan und Tubal und Mesech und Tiras.

And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

Und die Söhne Gomers: Askenas und Riphat und Togarma.

And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

Und die Söhne Jawans: Elisa und Tarsis, die Kittim und die Dodanim.

By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

Von diesen aus verteilten sich die Bewohner der Inseln der Nationen in ihren Ländern, eine jede nach ihrer Sprache, nach ihren Familien, in ihren Nationen.

And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

Und die Söhne Hams: Kusch und Mizraim und Put und Kanaan.

And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

Und die Söhne Kuschs: Seba und Hawila und Sabta und Raghma und Sabteka. Und die Söhne Raghmas: Scheba und Dedan.

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

Und Kusch zeugte Nimrod; der fing an, ein Gewaltiger zu sein auf der Erde.

He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

Er war ein gewaltiger Jäger vor Jehova; darum sagt man: Wie Nimrod, ein gewaltiger Jäger vor Jehova!

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

Und der Anfang seines Reiches war Babel und Erek und Akkad und Kalne im Lande Sinear.

Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

Von diesem Lande zog er aus nach Assur und baute Ninive und Rechobot-Ir und Kalach,

And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

und Resen zwischen Ninive und Kalach: das ist die große Stadt. -

And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

Und Mizraim zeugte die Ludim und die Anamim und die Lehabim und die Naphtuchim

And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

und die Pathrusim und die Kasluchim (von welchen die Philister ausgegangen sind,) und die Kaphtorim.

And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,

Und Kanaan zeugte Zidon, seinen Erstgeborenen, und Heth,

And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,

und den Jebusiter und den Amoriter und den Girgasiter,

And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

und den Hewiter und den Arkiter und den Siniter,

And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

und den Arwaditer und den Zemariter und den Hamathiter. Und nachher haben sich die Familien der Kanaaniter zerstreut.

And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

Und das Gebiet der Kanaaniter erstreckte sich von Zidon nach Gerar hin, bis Gasa; nach Sodom und Gomorra und Adama und Zeboim hin, bis Lescha. -

These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

Das sind die Söhne Hams nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Sprachen, in ihren Ländern, in ihren Nationen.

Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

Und dem Sem, dem Vater aller Söhne Hebers, dem Bruder Japhets, des ältesten, auch ihm wurden Söhne geboren.

The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

Die Söhne Sems: Elam und Assur und Arpaksad und Lud und Aram.

And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

Und die Söhne Arams: Uz und Hul und Gether und Masch.

And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

Und Arpaksad zeugte Schelach, und Schelach zeugte Heber.

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

Und dem Heber wurden zwei Söhne geboren: der Name des einen war Peleg, denn in seinen Tagen wurde die Erde verteilt; und der Name seines Bruders war Joktan.

And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

Und Joktan zeugte Almodad und Scheleph und Hazarmaweth und Jerach

And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

und Hadoram und Usal und Dikla

And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

und Obal und Abimael und Scheba

And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

und Ophir und Hawila und Jobab; diese alle waren Söhne Joktans.

And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.

Und ihr Wohnsitz war von Meschar nach Sephar hin, dem Gebirge des Ostens. -

These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

Das sind die Söhne Sems nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Sprachen, in ihren Ländern, nach ihren Nationen.

These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

Das sind die Familien der Söhne Noahs nach ihren Geschlechtern, in ihren Nationen; und von diesen aus haben sich nach der Flut die Nationen auf der Erde verteilt.
