Ezekiel 23

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:

Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

Menschensohn, es waren zwei Weiber, Töchter einer Mutter.

And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.

Und sie hurten in Ägypten, in ihrer Jugend hurten sie; dort wurden ihre Brüste gedrückt, und dort betastete man ihren jungfräulichen Busen.

And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

Und ihre Namen sind Ohola die größere, und Oholiba ihre Schwester. Und sie wurden mein und gebaren Söhne und Töchter; und was ihre Namen betrifft: Samaria ist Ohola, und Jerusalem ist Oholiba.

And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians her neighbours,

Und Ohola hurte, als sie unter mir war. Und sie entbrannte gegen ihre Buhlen, gegen die Assyrer, die nahe waren,

Which were clothed with blue, captains and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding upon horses.

gekleidet in Purpurblau, Landpfleger und Statthalter, allesamt anmutige Jünglinge Reiter, auf Rossen reitend.

Thus she committed her whoredoms with them, with all them that were the chosen men of Assyria, and with all on whom she doted: with all their idols she defiled herself.

Und sie richtete ihre Hurereien auf sie, die Auswahl der Söhne Assurs insgesamt; und mit allen, gegen welche sie entbrannte, mit allen deren Götzen verunreinigte sie sich.

Neither left she her whoredoms brought from Egypt: for in her youth they lay with her, and they bruised the breasts of her virginity, and poured their whoredom upon her.

Und auch ihre Hurereien von Ägypten her ließ sie nicht; denn sie hatten bei ihr gelegen in ihrer Jugend, und hatten ihren jungfräulichen Busen betastet und ihre Hurerei über sie ausgegossen.

Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.

Darum habe ich sie in die Hand ihrer Buhlen gegeben, in die Hand der Söhne Assurs, gegen welche sie entbrannt war.

These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

Sie deckten ihre Blöße auf, nahmen ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter weg, und sie selbst töteten sie mit dem Schwerte; und so wurde sie berüchtigt unter den Weibern, und man übte Gerichte an ihr.

And when her sister Aholibah saw this, she was more corrupt in her inordinate love than she, and in her whoredoms more than her sister in her whoredoms.

Und ihre Schwester Oholiba sah es, und sie trieb ihre Lüsternheit ärger als sie, und ihre Hurereien weiter als die Hurereien ihrer Schwester.

She doted upon the Assyrians her neighbours, captains and rulers clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding upon horses, all of them desirable young men.

Sie entbrannte gegen die Söhne Assurs, Landpfleger und Statthalter, die nahe waren, prächtig gekleidet, Reiter, auf Rossen reitend, allesamt anmutige Jünglinge.

Then I saw that she was defiled, that they took both one way,

Und ich sah, daß sie sich verunreinigt hatte: einerlei Weg hatten beide.

And that she increased her whoredoms: for when she saw men pourtrayed upon the wall, the images of the Chaldeans pourtrayed with vermilion,

Aber sie trieb ihre Hurereien noch weiter; denn sie sah Männer, an die Wand gezeichnet, Bilder von Chaldäern, mit Zinnober gezeichnet,

Girded with girdles upon their loins, exceeding in dyed attire upon their heads, all of them princes to look to, after the manner of the Babylonians of Chaldea, the land of their nativity:

mit Gürteln an ihren Hüften gegürtet, überhängende Mützen auf ihren Häuptern, von Aussehen Ritter insgesamt, ähnlich den Söhnen Babels in Chaldäa, ihrem Geburtslande;

And as soon as she saw them with her eyes, she doted upon them, and sent messengers unto them into Chaldea.

und sie entbrannte gegen sie, als ihre Augen sie sahen, und sie sandte Boten zu ihnen nach Chaldäa.

And the Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their whoredom, and she was polluted with them, and her mind was alienated from them.

Und die Söhne Babels kamen zu ihr zum Liebeslager und verunreinigten sie durch ihre Hurerei. Und als sie sich an ihnen verunreinigt hatte, riß sich ihre Seele von ihnen los.

So she discovered her whoredoms, and discovered her nakedness: then my mind was alienated from her, like as my mind was alienated from her sister.

Und als sie ihre Hurereien aufdeckte und ihre Blöße aufdeckte, da riß meine Seele sich von ihr los, so wie meine Seele sich von ihrer Schwester losgerissen hatte.

Yet she multiplied her whoredoms, in calling to remembrance the days of her youth, wherein she had played the harlot in the land of Egypt.

Und sie mehrte ihre Hurereien, indem sie der Tage ihrer Jugend gedachte, als sie im Lande Ägypten hurte.

For she doted upon their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of asses, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

Und sie entbrannte gegen dessen Buhlen, deren Fleisch wie das Fleisch der Esel, und deren Erguß wie der Erguß der Rosse ist.

Thus thou calledst to remembrance the lewdness of thy youth, in bruising thy teats by the Egyptians for the paps of thy youth.

Und du schautest dich um nach der Schandtat deiner Jugend, als die von Ägypten deinen Busen betasteten um deiner jugendlichen Brüste willen. -

Therefore, O Aholibah, thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will raise up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy mind is alienated, and I will bring them against thee on every side;

Darum Oholiba, so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich erwecke wider dich deine Buhlen, von welchen deine Seele sich losgerissen hat, und lasse sie von ringsumher über dich kommen:

The Babylonians, and all the Chaldeans, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them: all of them desirable young men, captains and rulers, great lords and renowned, all of them riding upon horses.

Die Söhne Babels und alle Chaldäer, Pekod und Schoa und Koa alle Söhne Assurs mit ihnen, anmutige Jünglinge, Landpfleger und Statthalter insgesamt, Ritter und Räte allesamt auf Rossen reitend.

And they shall come against thee with chariots, wagons, and wheels, and with an assembly of people, which shall set against thee buckler and shield and helmet round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall judge thee according to their judgments.

Und sie werden über dich kommen mit Waffen, Wagen und Rädern, und mit einer Schar von Völkern; Schild und Tartsche und Helm werden sie ringsum wider dich richten. Und ich werde ihnen das Gericht übergeben, und sie werden dich richten nach ihren Rechten.

And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire.

Und ich will meinen Eifer wider dich richten, und sie werden im Grimme mit dir verfahren: deine Nase und deine Ohren werden sie abschneiden, und was dir übrigbleibt wird durch das Schwert fallen; deine Söhne und deine Töchter werden sie wegnehmen, und was dir übrigbleibt wird durch das Feuer verzehrt werden.

They shall also strip thee out of thy clothes, and take away thy fair jewels.

Und sie werden dir deine Kleider ausziehen und deine herrlichen Geschmeide nehmen.

Thus will I make thy lewdness to cease from thee, and thy whoredom brought from the land of Egypt: so that thou shalt not lift up thine eyes unto them, nor remember Egypt any more.

Und ich will machen, daß deine Schandtat von dir abläßt, und deine Hurerei vom Lande Ägypten, so daß du deine Augen nicht mehr zu ihnen erheben und Ägyptens nicht mehr gedenken wirst. -

For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will deliver thee into the hand of them whom thou hatest, into the hand of them from whom thy mind is alienated:

Denn so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich gebe dich in die Hand derer, die du hassest, in die Hand derer, von welchen deine Seele sich losgerissen hat.

And they shall deal with thee hatefully, and shall take away all thy labour, and shall leave thee naked and bare: and the nakedness of thy whoredoms shall be discovered, both thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

Und sie werden im Haß mit dir verfahren, und deinen ganzen Erwerb wegnehmen und dich nackt und bloß lassen; und deine hurerische Blöße und deine Schandtat und deine Hurereien werden aufgedeckt werden.

I will do these things unto thee, because thou hast gone a whoring after the heathen, and because thou art polluted with their idols.

Solches wird dir geschehen, weil du den Nationen nachgehurt, weil du dich mit ihren Götzen verunreinigt hast.

Thou hast walked in the way of thy sister; therefore will I give her cup into thine hand.

Auf dem Wege deiner Schwester hast du gewandelt, und so will ich ihren Becher in deine Hand geben. -

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou shalt drink of thy sister's cup deep and large: thou shalt be laughed to scorn and had in derision; it containeth much.

So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Du wirst den Becher deiner Schwester trinken, den tiefen und weiten: Zum Gelächter und zum Spott wird er gereichen, weil er so viel faßt.

Thou shalt be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of thy sister Samaria.

Voll Trunkenheit und Kummer wirst du werden; der Becher deiner Schwester Samaria ist ein Becher des Entsetzens und der Betäubung

Thou shalt even drink it and suck it out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

Und du wirst ihn trinken und ausschlürfen, und wirst seine Scherben benagen und deine Brüste zerreißen; denn ich habe geredet, spricht der Herr, Jehova. -

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.

Darum, so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Weil du meiner vergessen und mich hinter deinen Rücken geworfen hast, so trage du auch deine Schandtat und deine Hurereien.

The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;

Und Jehova sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, willst du die Ohola und die Oholiba richten? so tue ihnen ihre Greuel kund.

That they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through the fire, to devour them.

Denn sie haben Ehebruch getrieben, und Blut ist an ihren Händen; und mit ihren Götzen haben sie Ehebruch getrieben, und sogar ihre Kinder, die sie mir geboren, haben sie ihnen durch das Feuer gehen lassen zum Fraß.

Moreover this they have done unto me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my sabbaths.

Noch dieses haben sie mir getan: Sie haben mein Heiligtum verunreinigt an selbigem Tage und meine Sabbathe entweiht.

For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

Denn wenn sie ihre Kinder ihren Götzen schlachteten, so kamen sie an demselben Tage in mein Heiligtum, es zu entweihen; und siehe, also haben sie getan inmitten meines Hauses.

And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far, unto whom a messenger was sent; and, lo, they came: for whom thou didst wash thyself, paintedst thy eyes, and deckedst thyself with ornaments,

Ja, sie haben sogar zu Männern gesandt, die von ferne kommen sollten, -zu welchen ein Bote gesandt wurde, und siehe, sie kamen-für welche du dich badetest, deine Augen schminktest und dir Schmuck anlegtest,

And satest upon a stately bed, and a table prepared before it, whereupon thou hast set mine incense and mine oil.

und dich auf ein prächtiges Polster setztest, vor welchem ein Tisch zugerichtet war; und darauf setztest du mein Räucherwerk und mein Öl.

And a voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with the men of the common sort were brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.

Und dabei war die Stimme einer sorglosen Menge. Und zu den Männern aus der Menschenmenge wurden Zecher gebracht aus der Wüste; und sie legten Armringe an ihre Hände und setzten prächtige Kronen auf ihre Häupter.

Then said I unto her that was old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she with them?

Da sprach ich von der durch Ehebruch Entkräfteten: Wird sie, ja sie, jetzt noch ihre Hurereien treiben?

Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.

Und man ging zu ihr ein, wie man zu einer Hure eingeht; so gingen sie ein zu Ohola und zu Oholiba, den lasterhaften Weibern.

And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.

Aber gerechte Männer, die werden sie richten nach dem Rechte der Ehebrecherinnen und nach dem Rechte der Blutvergießerinnen; denn sie sind Ehebrecherinnen, und Blut ist an ihren Händen. -

For thus saith the Lord GOD; I will bring up a company upon them, and will give them to be removed and spoiled.

Denn so spricht der Herr, Jehova: Ich will eine Versammlung wider sie heraufführen, und sie zur Mißhandlung und zur Beute übergeben.

And the company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.

Und die Versammlung wird sie steinigen und sie mit ihren Schwertern zerhauen; ihre Söhne und ihre Töchter wird sie töten und ihre Häuser mit Feuer verbrennen.

Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.

Und so werde ich die Schandtat wegschaffen aus dem Lande, damit alle Weiber sich zurechtweisen lassen und nicht nach eurer Schandtat tun.

And they shall recompense your lewdness upon you, and ye shall bear the sins of your idols: and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

Und sie werden eure Schandtat auf euch bringen, und die Sünden eurer Götzen werdet ihr tragen. Und ihr werdet wissen daß ich der Herr, Jehova, bin.
