Jeremiah 48

Against Moab thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded and taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed.

Pri Moab: Tiele diras la Eternulo Cebaot, Dio de Izrael: Ve al Nebo! ĉar ĝi estas ruinigita; hontigita kaj venkoprenita estas Kirjataim; hontigita kaj tremigita estas la fortikaĵo.

There shall be no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. Also thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee.

Jam ne ekzistas la gloro de Moab; en Ĥeŝbon oni intencas kontraŭ ĝi malbonon, dirante: Ni iru, kaj ni ekstermu ĝin, ke ĝi ne plu estu popolo. Ankaŭ vi, ho Madmen, eksilentu; vin persekutos glavo.

A voice of crying shall be from Horonaim, spoiling and great destruction.

Kriadon oni aŭdas de Ĥoronaim, tie estas ruinigado kaj granda malfeliĉo.

Moab is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.

Disbatita estas Moab; ĝiaj infanoj laŭte krias.

For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.

Kiuj supreniras al Luĥit, tiuj iras kun plorado; ĉe la malsuprenirado de Ĥoronaim la malamikoj aŭdas kriadon de malfeliĉo.

Flee, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness.

Forkuru, savu vian vivon, kaj estu kiel seknudiĝinta arbo en la dezerto.

For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his priests and his princes together.

Ĉar vi fidis viajn faritaĵojn kaj viajn trezorojn, vi ankaŭ estos venkoprenita; kaj Kemoŝ iros en kaptitecon kune kun siaj pastroj kaj eminentuloj.

And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken.

Venos ruiniganto en ĉiun urbon, neniu urbo saviĝos; pereos la valo kaj dezertiĝos la ebenaĵo, kiel diris la Eternulo.

Give wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein.

Donu flugilojn al Moab, ĉar li devas forflugi; liaj urboj dezertiĝos tiel, ke neniu en ili loĝos.

Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.

Malbenita estu tiu, kiu plenumas malĝuste la faron de la Eternulo, kaj malbenita estu tiu, kiu detenas sian glavon de sango.

Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.

De sia juneco Moab havis trankvilecon kaj ripozadis sur sia feĉo, li ne estis transverŝata el unu vazo en alian, kaj en kaptitecon li ne iris; tial lia gusto restis en li kaj lia odoro ne ŝanĝiĝis.

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles.

Tial jen venos tempo, diras la Eternulo, kiam Mi sendos al li verŝistojn, kaj ili verŝos lin, malplenigos liajn vazojn, kaj disrompos liajn kruĉojn.

And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Beth–el their confidence.

Kaj Moab estos hontigita pro Kemoŝ, kiel la domo de Izrael estis hontigita pro Bet-El, kiun ili fidis.

How say ye, We are mighty and strong men for the war?

Kiel vi povas diri: Ni estas herooj kaj kapabluloj por la milito?

Moab is spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.

Ruinigita estas Moab, liaj urboj falis, kaj liaj plej bravaj junuloj iris al buĉo, diras al Reĝo, kies nomo estas Eternulo Cebaot.

The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hasteth fast.

Baldaŭ venos pereo al Moab, kaj lia malfeliĉo tre rapidas.

All ye that are about him, bemoan him; and all ye that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!

Bedaŭru lin ĉiuj liaj ĉirkaŭantoj, kaj ĉiuj, kiuj konas lian nomon, diru: Kiele disrompiĝis la forta vergo, la belega bastono!

Thou daughter that dost inhabit Dibon, come down from thy glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon thee, and he shall destroy thy strong holds.

Iru malsupren de via majesto, sidu en senakva loko, ho loĝantino, filino de Dibon; ĉar la ruiniganto de Moab elpaŝis kontraŭ vin kaj detruis viajn fortikaĵojn.

O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and espy; ask him that fleeth, and her that escapeth, and say, What is done?

Staru ĉe la vojo kaj rigardu, ho loĝantino de Aroer; demandu la forkuranton kaj la forsaviĝanton, kaj diru: Kio fariĝis?

Moab is confounded; for it is broken down: howl and cry; tell ye it in Arnon, that Moab is spoiled,

Hontigita estas Moab, ĉar li estas frapita; ploru kaj kriu, sciigu en Arnon, ke Moab estas ruinigita.

And judgment is come upon the plain country; upon Holon, and upon Jahazah, and upon Mephaath,

Juĝo venis kontraŭ la lando de la ebenaĵo, kontraŭ Ĥolon, Jahac, kaj Mefaat,

And upon Dibon, and upon Nebo, and upon Beth–diblathaim,

kontraŭ Dibon, Nebo, kaj Bet-Diblataim,

And upon Kiriathaim, and upon Beth–gamul, and upon Beth–meon,

kontraŭ Kirjataim, Bet-Gamul, kaj Bet-Meon,

And upon Kerioth, and upon Bozrah, and upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.

kontraŭ Keriot kaj Bocra, kaj kontraŭ ĉiuj urboj de la lando de Moab, la malproksimaj kaj la proksimaj.

The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the LORD.

Dehakita estas la korno de Moab, kaj lia brako estas rompita, diras la Eternulo.

Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.

Ebriigu lin, ĉar li leviĝis kontraŭ la Eternulo; Moab plaŭdos en sia vomaĵo, kaj li mem estos objekto de mokado.

For was not Israel a derision unto thee? was he found among thieves? for since thou spakest of him, thou skippedst for joy.

Ĉu vi ne mokis Izraelon? ĉu oni trovis lin inter ŝtelistoj, ke ĉiufoje, kiam vi parolas pri li, vi balancas la kapon?

O ye that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock, and be like the dove that maketh her nest in the sides of the hole's mouth.

Forlasu la urbojn kaj ekloĝu sur roko, ho loĝantoj de Moab, kaj fariĝu kiel kolomboj, kiuj nestas en truoj de kavernoj.

We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.

Ni aŭdis pri la fiereco de Moab, granda fiereco, pri lia malmodesteco, fiereco, aroganteco, kaj pri la malhumileco de lia koro.

I know his wrath, saith the LORD; but it shall not be so; his lies shall not so effect it.

Mi konas, diras la Eternulo, lian koleremecon, la nesincerecon de liaj vortoj kaj la nesincerecon de liaj agoj.

Therefore will I howl for Moab, and I will cry out for all Moab; mine heart shall mourn for the men of Kir–heres.

Tial Mi devas plori pri Moab, ĝemi pri ĉiuj Moabidoj, priplori la loĝantojn de Kir-Ĥeres.

O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for thee with the weeping of Jazer: thy plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon thy summer fruits and upon thy vintage.

Per pli ol la plorado de Jazer Mi ploros pri vi, ho vinberĝardeno de Sibma; viaj branĉoj etendiĝis trans la maron, atingis la maron de Jazer; rabisto atakis viajn somerajn fruktojn kaj vian rikolton.

And joy and gladness is taken from the plentiful field, and from the land of Moab; and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: none shall tread with shouting; their shouting shall be no shouting.

Foriĝis ĝojo kaj gajeco de la fruktodona kampo kaj de la lando de Moab; Mi malaperigis vinon en la vinpremejoj, oni ne premos tie kun ĝojo vinon, triumfaj kantoj ne plu sonos.

From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be desolate.

Pro la kriado, kiu aŭdiĝas de Ĥeŝbon ĝis Eleale kaj ĝis Jahac, ili laŭte ekploris de Coar ĝis Ĥoronaim kaj ĝis la tria Eglat; ĉar ankaŭ la akvo de Nimrim sekmalaperis.

Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, saith the LORD, him that offereth in the high places, and him that burneth incense to his gods.

Mi ekstermos ĉe Moab, diras la Eternulo, ĉiun, kiu supreniras sur altaĵon kaj incensas al siaj dioj.

Therefore mine heart shall sound for Moab like pipes, and mine heart shall sound like pipes for the men of Kir–heres: because the riches that he hath gotten are perished.

Tial Mia koro ĝemas pri Moab kiel fluto, kaj pri la loĝantoj de Kir-Ĥeres Mia koro ĝemas kiel fluto; ĉar la abundaĵo, kiun ili akiris, pereis.

For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.

Ĉar ĉiu kapo kalviĝis, kaj ĉiu barbo estas fortondita, sur ĉiuj manoj estas tranĉoj, kaj sur la lumboj estas sakaĵo.

There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, saith the LORD.

Sur ĉiuj tegmentoj de Moab kaj sur liaj stratoj ĉie estas plorado; ĉar Mi disrompis Moabon kiel senvaloran vazon, diras la Eternulo.

They shall howl, saying, How is it broken down! how hath Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him.

Kiele disbatita li estas, kiele ili ploregas! kiele Moab turnis sian nukon, estas hontigita, kaj Moab fariĝis objekto de mokado kaj de teruro por ĉiuj siaj ĉirkaŭantoj!

For thus saith the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.

Ĉar tiele diras la Eternulo: Jen li alflugos kiel aglo kaj etendos siajn flugilojn super Moab.

Kerioth is taken, and the strong holds are surprised, and the mighty men's hearts in Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.

Prenita estas Keriot, kaj la fortikigitaj urboj estas kaptitaj; kaj la koro de la herooj de Moab en tiu tago estos kiel la koro de virino dum la doloroj de naskado.

And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he hath magnified himself against the LORD.

Kaj Moab estos ekstermita, ke li ne plu estos popolo, ĉar li leviĝis kontraŭ la Eternulo.

Fear, and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon thee, O inhabitant of Moab, saith the LORD.

Teruro, kavo, kaj kaptilo trafos vin, ho loĝanto de Moab, diras la Eternulo.

He that fleeth from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that getteth up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

Kiu forkuros de la teruro, tiu falos en la kavon; kaj kiu eliros el la kavo, tiu trafos en kaptilon; ĉar Mi venigos sur lin, sur Moabon, la jaron de lia puno, diras la Eternulo.

They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.

Sub la ombro de Ĥeŝbon stariĝos tiuj, kiuj forkuros de la forto; sed fajro eliros el Ĥeŝbon kaj flamo el la mezo de Siĥon, kaj ĝi manĝegos la flankon de Moab kaj la verton de la filoj malkvietaj.

Woe be unto thee, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perisheth: for thy sons are taken captives, and thy daughters captives.

Ve al vi, ho Moab! pereis la popolo de Kemoŝ; ĉar viaj filoj estas prenitaj en kaptitecon kaj viaj filinoj estas forkondukitaj.

Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, saith the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

Sed en la tempo estonta Mi revenigos la kaptitojn de Moab, diras la Eternulo. Ĝis ĉi tie estas la verdikto pri Moab.
