Psalms 54

Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

Zborovođi. Uza žičana glazbala. Poučna pjesma. Davidova.

Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

Kad su Zifijci došli k Šaulu govoreći: "David se kod nas

For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

Spasi me, Bože, svojim imenom i jakošću svojom izbori mi pravdu!

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

Poslušaj, Bože, moju molitvu i usliši riječi usta mojih!

He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

Oholice ustadoše na me i moj život traže silnici: na Boga se ne osvrću.

I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

Evo, Bog mi pomaže, Gospodin krijepi život moj.

For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.

Okreni nesreću na dušmane moje, zatri ih u vjernosti svojoj. [ (Psalms 54:8) Od srca rado ću ti žrtvovati, slavit ću ti ime, Jahve, jer je dobrostivo, ] [ (Psalms 54:9) jer ti me izbavi iz svake nevolje, i oko moje vidje postiđene moje dušmane. ]
