Romans 10

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

Братя, моето сърдечно желание и молбата ми към Бога за Израил е те да бъдат спасени.

For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Защото свидетелствам за тях, че те имат ревност за Бога, само че не е според познаването.

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Понеже, като не познаваха Божията правда и като искаха да установят своята собствена, не се покориха на Божията правда.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Защото Христос е краят на закона за правда на всеки, който вярва.

For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

Защото Мойсей пише за правдата, която е от закона: ?ако човек прави това, ще живее чрез него.“

But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

Но правдата от вяра говори така: ?Да не кажеш в сърцето си: Кой ще се изкачи на небето?“ – тоест да свали Христос долу;

Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

или: ?Кой ще слезе в бездната?“ – тоест да изведе Христос горе от мъртвите?

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

Но какво казва тя? Казва, че ?думата е близо при теб, в устата ти и в сърцето ти“ – тоест думата на вярата, която проповядваме.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Защото, ако изповядаш с устата си, че Иисус е Господ, и повярваш в сърцето си, че Бог Го е възкресил от мъртвите, ще се спасиш.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Защото със сърце се вярва за оправдание, и с уста се прави изповед за спасение.

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

Защото Писанието казва: ?Никой, който вярва в Него, няма да се посрами.“

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Понеже няма разлика между юдеин и грък, защото един и същ е Господ над всички, богат към всички, които Го призовават.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Защото ?всеки, който призове Името на Господа, ще се спаси.“

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Как обаче ще призоват Този, в когото не са повярвали? А как ще повярват в Този, когото не са чули? А как ще чуят без проповедник?

And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

И как ще проповядват, ако не са изпратени? Както е писано: ?Колко са прекрасни краката на тези, които благовестват доброто!“

But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Но не всички се подчиниха на благовестието; защото Исая казва: ?Господи, кой е повярвал на онова, което е чул от нас?“

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

И така, вярата е от слушане, а слушането – от Христовото слово.

But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Но аз казвам: Те не са ли чули? Разбира се, чули са: ?По цялата земя се разнесе гласът им и думите им – до краищата на вселената.“

But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

Но пак казвам: Израил не е ли разбрал? Първо Мойсей казва: ?Аз ще ви раздразня до ревнуване с тези, които не са народ; с народ неразбран ще ви разгневя.“

But Esaias is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest unto them that asked not after me.

А Исая се осмелява да каже: ?Намерен бях от онези, които не Ме търсеха; явен станах на тези, които не питаха за Мен.“

But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

А за Израил казва: ?Простирах ръцете Си цял ден към народ непокорен и опак.“
