Joshua 1

Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,

И след смъртта на ГОСПОДНИЯ слуга Мойсей ГОСПОД говори на Иисус, сина на Навий, слугата на Мойсей, и му каза:

Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

Слугата ми Мойсей умря; затова сега стани, премини този Йордан, ти и целият този народ, към земята, която Аз давам на тях, на израилевите синове.

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

Всяко място, на което стъпи стъпалото на крака ви, Аз ви го давам, така както говорих на Мойсей.

From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

От пустинята и този Ливан чак до голямата река, реката Ефрат, цялата земя на хетейците, и до Голямото море към залез слънце ще бъдат пределите ви.

There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Никой няма да устои пред теб през всичките дни на живота ти; както бях с Мойсей, така ще бъда и с теб; няма да отстъпя от теб и няма да те оставя.

Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

Бъди силен и смел, защото ти ще разделиш на този народ земята в наследство, за която се заклех на бащите им, че ще им я дам.

Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.

Само бъди силен и много смел, за да внимаваш да спазваш целия закон, за който ти заповяда слугата Ми Мойсей; не се отклонявай от него нито надясно, нито наляво, за да имаш успех, където и да отидеш.

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Тази книга на закона да не се отделя от устата ти и да размишляваш върху нея денем и нощем, за да внимаваш да спазваш всичко, което е написано в нея; защото тогава ще благоуспяваш в пътя си и тогава ще имаш успех.

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Ето, заповядвам ти: бъди силен и смел; не се плаши и не се страхувай, защото ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, е с теб, където и да отидеш!

Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,

И Иисус заповяда на надзорниците на народа и каза:

Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.

Преминете през стана и заповядайте на народа, и му кажете: Пригответе си храна за път, защото след три дни ще преминете този Йордан, за да влезете да завладеете земята, която ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ви дава да притежавате.

And to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh, spake Joshua, saying,

А на рувимците, на гадците и на половината от манасиевото племе Иисус говори и им каза:

Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.

Помнете думата, която ГОСПОДНИЯТ слуга Мойсей ви заповяда, като каза: ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ви дава почивка и ще ви даде тази земя.

Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle, shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side Jordan; but ye shall pass before your brethren armed, all the mighty men of valour, and help them;

Жените ви, децата ви и добитъкът ви да останат в земята, която Мойсей ви даде отсам Йордан, а вие, всички храбри воини, да преминете пред братята си в боен ред и да им помогнете,

Until the LORD have given your brethren rest, as he hath given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God giveth them: then ye shall return unto the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD'S servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrising.

докато ГОСПОД даде и на братята ви почивка, както на вас, и те също завладеят земята, която ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, им дава. Тогава да се върнете в земята на вашето наследство и да я притежавате, земята, която ГОСПОДНИЯТ слуга Мойсей ви даде отсам Йордан към изгрев слънце.

And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.

И те отговориха на Иисус и казаха: Всичко, което ни заповядваш, ще извършим и където и да ни пратиш, ще идем.

According as we hearkened unto Moses in all things, so will we hearken unto thee: only the LORD thy God be with thee, as he was with Moses.

Както слушахме Мойсей във всичко, така ще слушаме и теб; само ГОСПОД, твоят Бог, да е с теб, както беше с Мойсей.

Whosoever he be that doth rebel against thy commandment, and will not hearken unto thy words in all that thou commandest him, he shall be put to death: only be strong and of a good courage.

Всеки, който се разбунтува срещу твоята заповед и не послуша думите ти във всичко, което му заповядваш, ще бъде умъртвен. Само бъди силен и смел!
