Deuteronomy 3

Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.

Тогава се обърнахме и се изкачихме по пътя към Васан; и васанският цар Ог излезе на бой против нас при Едраи, той и целият му народ.

And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

Но ГОСПОД ми каза: Не се бой от него, защото предадох в ръката ти него, целия му народ и земята му; ще му направиш така, както направи на аморейския цар Сион, който живееше в Есевон.

So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

Така ГОСПОД, нашият Бог, предаде в ръката ни и васанския цар Ог с целия му народ и ние го разбихме, докато не му остана нито един Оцелял.

And we took all his cities at that time, there was not a city which we took not from them, threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

И в онова време превзехме всичките му градове; нямаше град, който да не отнехме от тях: шестдесет града, цялата област на Аргов, царството на Ог във Васан.

All these cities were fenced with high walls, gates, and bars; beside unwalled towns a great many.

Всички тези градове бяха укрепени с високи стени, порти и лостове; а освен тях имаше и твърде много неоградени градове.

And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children, of every city.

И изпълнихме над тях проклятието, както направихме на есевонския цар Сион; изпълнихме проклятието над всеки град — над мъжете, жените и децата.

But all the cattle, and the spoil of the cities, we took for a prey to ourselves.

А всичкия добитък и плячката на градовете заграбихме за себе си.

And we took at that time out of the hand of the two kings of the Amorites the land that was on this side Jordan, from the river of Arnon unto mount Hermon;

Така по онова време взехме земята от ръцете на двамата аморейски царе, който бяха отсам Йордан, от реката Арнон до планината Ермон —

(Which Hermon the Sidonians call Sirion; and the Amorites call it Shenir;)

сидонците наричат Ермон Сирион, а аморейците го наричат Санир —

All the cities of the plain, and all Gilead, and all Bashan, unto Salchah and Edrei, cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan.

всичките градове на равнината, целия Галаад и целия Васан, до Салха и Едраи, градове от царството на Ог във Васан.

For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

Защото само васанският цар Ог беше останал от Остатъка на великаните. Ето, леглото му беше желязно легло. Не е ли то в Рава на синовете на Амон? Дължината му беше девет лакътя, а ширината му — четири лакътя, според човешки лакът.

And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half mount Gilead, and the cities thereof, gave I unto the Reubenites and to the Gadites.

Тази земя завзехме в онова време. От Ароир, който е при реката Арнон, и половината планини на Галаад и градовете му дадох на рувимците и гадците.

And the rest of Gilead, and all Bashan, being the kingdom of Og, gave I unto the half tribe of Manasseh; all the region of Argob, with all Bashan, which was called the land of giants.

А останалото от Галаад и целия Васан, царството на Ог, дадох на половината от манасиевото племе. Цялата област на Аргов с целия Васан се нарича земя на великаните.

Jair the son of Manasseh took all the country of Argob unto the coasts of Geshuri and Maachathi; and called them after his own name, Bashan–havoth–jair, unto this day.

Яир, синът на Манасия завзе цялата област на Аргов до границата на гесурците и маахатците и нарече Васан на свое име — Авот-Яир и до днес.

And I gave Gilead unto Machir.

А на Махир дадох Галаад.

And unto the Reubenites and unto the Gadites I gave from Gilead even unto the river Arnon half the valley, and the border even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;

А на рувимците и на гадците дадох от Галаад до реката Арнон, до средата на реката за граница и до реката Явок, границата на синовете на Амон,

The plain also, and Jordan, and the coast thereof, from Chinnereth even unto the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, under Ashdoth–pisgah eastward.

също и равнината, и Йордан за граница, от Хинерот чак до морето на равнината, Солено море, под склоновете на Фасга на изток.

And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.

И в онова време ви заповядах и казах: ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, ви даде тази земя да я притежавате. Всички вие, храбри мъже, ще минете в боен ред пред братята си, израилевите синове.

But your wives, and your little ones, and your cattle, (for I know that ye have much cattle,) shall abide in your cities which I have given you;

А жените ви и децата ви, и добитъкът ви — зная, че имате много добитък — да останат в градовете ви, които ви дадох,

Until the LORD have given rest unto your brethren, as well as unto you, and until they also possess the land which the LORD your God hath given them beyond Jordan: and then shall ye return every man unto his possession, which I have given you.

докато ГОСПОД даде почивка на братята ви както на вас и те също завладеят земята, която ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, им дава оттатък Йордан. Тогава да се върнете, всеки в притежанието си, което ви дадох.

And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Thine eyes have seen all that the LORD your God hath done unto these two kings: so shall the LORD do unto all the kingdoms whither thou passest.

И в онова време заповядах на Иисус и казах: Очите ти видяха всичко, което ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, направи на тези двама царе; така ще направи ГОСПОД на всичките царства, в които ще преминеш.

Ye shall not fear them: for the LORD your God he shall fight for you.

Не се бойте от тях, защото ГОСПОД, вашият Бог, е Този, който воюва за вас.

And I besought the LORD at that time, saying,

В онова време се помолих на ГОСПОДА и казах:

O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

Господи БОЖЕ, Ти си започнал да показваш на слугата Си величието Си и силната Си ръка; защото кой е този бог на небето или на земята, който може да върши като Твоите дела и според Твоята мощ?

I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

Моля Те да премина и да видя добрата земя отвъд Йордан, тази добра планинска страна и Ливан.

But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

Но ГОСПОД ми се беше разгневил заради вас и не ме послуша. И ГОСПОД ми каза: Достатъчно ти е! Не Ми говори повече за това.

Get thee up into the top of Pisgah, and lift up thine eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and behold it with thine eyes: for thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

Изкачи се на върха на Фасга и вдигни очите си на запад и на север, на юг и на изток и виж земята с очите си, защото няма да преминеш този Йордан.

But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him: for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which thou shalt see.

Но заповядай на Иисус и го утвърди, и го укрепи; защото той ще мине пред този народ и той ще им раздели за наследство земята, която ще видиш.

So we abode in the valley over against Beth–peor.

И останахме в долината срещу Вет-Фегор.
