II Samuel 9

And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

И Давид каза: Има ли още някой останал от Сауловия дом, за да му окажа милост заради Йонатан?

And there was of the house of Saul a servant whose name was Ziba. And when they had called him unto David, the king said unto him, Art thou Ziba? And he said, Thy servant is he.

А имаше един слуга от Сауловия дом, който се казваше Сива. И го повикаха при Давид и царят му каза: Ти ли си Сива? И той каза: Аз съм слугата ти.

And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

Тогава царят каза: Няма ли вече никой от Сауловия дом, на когото да окажа Божията милост? И Сива каза на царя: Има още един син на Йонатан, недъгав в двата крака.

And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lo–debar.

И царят му каза: Къде е той? И Сива каза на царя: Ето, той е в къщата на Махир, сина на Амиил, в Ло-Давар.

Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lo–debar.

Тогава цар Давид изпрати да го доведат от къщата на Махир, сина на Амиил, от Ло-Давар.

Now when Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, was come unto David, he fell on his face, and did reverence. And David said, Mephibosheth. And he answered, Behold thy servant!

И Мемфивостей, синът на Йонатан, син на Саул, дойде при Давид и падна по лице, и се поклони. И Давид каза: Мемфивостей! А той отговори: Ето слугата ти.

And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

И Давид му каза: Не се бой, защото непременно ще ти окажа милост заради баща ти Йонатан и ще ти възвърна цялата земя на баща ти Саул; а ти постоянно ще ядеш хляб на трапезата ми.

And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?

Тогава той му се поклони и каза: Кой е слугата ти, че да погледнеш такова умряло куче като мен?

Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.

Тогава царят повика Сауловия слуга Сива и му каза: Всичко, което принадлежеше на Саул и на целия му дом, дадох на сина на господаря ти.

Thou therefore, and thy sons, and thy servants, shall till the land for him, and thou shalt bring in the fruits, that thy master's son may have food to eat: but Mephibosheth thy master's son shall eat bread alway at my table. Now Ziba had fifteen sons and twenty servants.

А ти и синовете ти, и слугите ти ще му обработвате земята и ще донасяте произведеното, така че синът на господаря ти да има хляб да яде. И Мемфивостей, синът на господаря ти, постоянно ще яде хляб на трапезата ми. А Сива имаше петнадесет сина и двадесет слуги.

Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king's sons.

И Сива каза на царя: Според всичко, което господарят ми, царят, заповяда на слугата си, така ще направи слугата ти. А Мемфивостей, каза царят, ще яде на трапезата ми като един от царските синове.

And Mephibosheth had a young son, whose name was Micha. And all that dwelt in the house of Ziba were servants unto Mephibosheth.

И Мемфивостей имаше малък син на име Михей. И всички, които живееха в къщата на Сива, бяха слуги на Мемфивистей.

So Mephibosheth dwelt in Jerusalem: for he did eat continually at the king's table; and was lame on both his feet.

Така Мемфивостей живееше в Ерусалим, защото постоянно ядеше на царската трапеза. А той беше недъгав и в двата крака.
