II John 1

The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

Старейшината до избраната госпожа и нейните деца, които аз любя в истина; и не само аз, а и всички, които са познали истината,

For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

заради истината, която обитава в нас и ще бъде с нас до века:

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

благодат, милост, мир ще бъдат с нас от Бог Отец и от Господ Иисус Христос, Сина на Отца, в истина и любов.

I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

Много се зарадвах, че намерих някои от децата ти да ходят в истината, както приехме заповед от Отца.

And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

И сега, госпожо, умолявам те, не като че ти пиша нова заповед, а тази, която имахме отначало: да се любим един друг.

And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

И любовта е това: да ходим според Неговите заповеди. Тази е заповедта, в която трябва да ходите, както сте чули отначало.

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Защото много измамници излязоха в света, които не изповядват идването на Иисус Христос в плът. Такъв е измамник и антихрист.

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Внимавайте на себе си, за да не изгубите онова, което сме изработили, а да получите пълна награда.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

Никой, който върви напред и не стои в Христовото учение, няма Бога; този, който стои в Христовото учение, той има и Отца, и Сина.

If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Ако някой дойде при вас и не носи това учение, не го приемайте в дома и не го поздравявайте,

For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

защото, който го поздравява, става участник в неговите зли дела.

Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

Имам много да ви пиша, но не исках да пиша с хартия и мастило, а се надявам да дойда при вас и да разговаряме очи в очи, за да бъде радостта ни пълна.
