I Chronicles 12

Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war.

И това са тези, които дойдоха при Давид в Сиклаг, докато още се криеше от Саул, сина на Кис. И те бяха от силните мъже, които му помагаха в бой.

They were armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in hurling stones and shooting arrows out of a bow, even of Saul's brethren of Benjamin.

Те бяха въоръжени с лъкове и умееха и с дясната, и с лявата ръка да хвърлят камъни с прашка и да стрелят с лък и стрели. От братята на Саул, от Вениамин:

The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite,

главата Ахиезер, и Йоас, синовете на гаваатеца Сама, Езиил и Фелет, синовете на Азмавет, и Вераха, и анатотецът Ииуй,

And Ismaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite,

и гаваонецът Исмая, силен между тридесетте, и над тридесетте, и Еремия, и Яазаил, и Йоанан, и гедиротецът Йозавад,

Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,

Елузай и Еримот, и Ваалия, и Семария, и аруфецът Сафатия,

Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korhites,

Елкана и Есия, и Азареил, и Йоезер, и Ясовеам, кореовците,

And Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.

и Йоила и Зевадия, синовете на Ероам от Гедор.

And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;

И от гадците се отделиха и дойдоха при Давид в непристъпното място в пустинята силни и храбри мъже, мъже, обучени за война и за бой, въоръжени с щит и копие, чиито лица бяха като лица на лъвове, и които бяха бързи като сърните по хълмовете.

Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,

Езер беше главата, Авдия — вторият, Елиав — третият,

Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,

Мисмана — четвъртият, Еремия — петият,

Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,

Атай — шестият, Елиил — седмият,

Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,

Йоанан — осмият, Елзавад — деветият,

Jeremiah the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.

Еремия — десетият, Махванай — единадесетият.

These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.

Тези от синовете на Гад бяха началници; най-долният беше над сто, а най-горният беше над хиляда.

These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.

Тези са, които преминаха Йордан в първия месец, когато беше залял всичките си брегове, и разгониха всичките жители на долините на изток и на запад.

And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the hold unto David.

И някои от синовете на Вениамин и Юда също дойдоха при Давид в непристъпното място.

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.

А Давид излезе да ги посрещне и им проговори и каза: Ако идвате при мен с мир, за да ми помогнете, сърцето ми ще се съедини с вас; но ако идвате, за да ме предадете на враговете ми, без да има насилие в ръцете ми, Бог на бащите ни нека види и отсъди!

Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

Тогава Духът дойде на Амасай, главния военачалник, и каза: Твои сме, Давиде, и с теб сме, сине на Есей! Мир, мир на теб и мир и на помощниците ти! Защото твоят Бог ти помага. Тогава Давид ги прие и ги постави за началници на полка си.

And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.

И от Манасия някои преминаха към Давид, когато дойде с филистимците на бой против Саул. Но не им помогнаха, защото, като се посъветваха, филистимските първенци го отпратиха, като казаха: Той ще премине към господаря си Саул с опасност за главите ни!

As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.

А когато се връщаше в Сиклаг, към него се присъединиха от Манасия: Адна и Йозавад, и Едиил, и Михаил, и Йозавад, и Елиу, и Силатай, началници на манасиевите хиляди.

And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.

Те помогнаха на Давид против разбойническата дружина, защото те всички бяха силни и храбри мъже; и станаха военачалници.

For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.

Защото от ден на ден при Давид прииждаха мъже, за да му помагат, докато стана голяма войска, като Божия войска.

And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.

И ето броят на началниците на въоръжените за бой, които дойдоха при Давид в Хеврон, за да обърнат към него царството на Саул според ГОСПОДНАТА заповед:

The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war.

От синовете на Юда, щитоносци и копиеносци: шест хиляди и осемстотин души, въоръжени за бой.

Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.

От синовете на Симеон, силни и храбри мъже, готови за бой: седем хиляди и сто души.

Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.

От синовете на Леви: четири хиляди и шестстотин души;

And Jehoiada was the leader of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred;

а Йодая беше първенец на аароновците; и с него бяха три хиляди и седемстотин души,

And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father's house twenty and two captains.

и Садок, силен и храбър младеж, и от бащиния му дом бяха двадесет и двама началници.

And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.

От синовете на Вениамин, братята на Саул: три хиляди души. Но дотогава по-голямата част от тях подържаха Сауловия дом.

And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.

От синовете на Ефрем: двадесет хиляди и осемстотин души, силни и храбри мъже, именити мъже от бащиния си дом.

And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name, to come and make David king.

От половината манасиево племе: осемнадесет хиляди души, които бяха определени по име да дойдат да направят Давид цар.

And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

От синовете на Исахар, мъже разумни да познават времената и да знаят какво трябваше да прави Израил: началниците им бяха двеста и всичките им братя действаха по тяхна заповед.

Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.

От Завулон: петдесет хиляди души, които излизаха с войската, готови за бой с всякакви военни оръжия, да се строяват около Давид с неразделено сърце.

And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.

От Нефталим: хиляда началници и с тях тридесет и седем хиляди души с щит и копие.

And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.

От данците: двадесет и осем хиляди и шестстотин души, готови за бой.

And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.

От Асир: четиридесет хиляди души, които излизаха с войската, готови за бой.

And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.

А от оттатък Йордан, от рувимците, от гадците и от половината манасиево племе: сто и двадесет хиляди души с всякакви военни оръжия за бой.

All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.

Всички тези военни мъже, в боен ред, дойдоха с неразделено сърце в Хеврон, за да направят Давид цар над целия Израил. И всички останали в Израил бяха единодушни да направят Давид цар.

And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.

И бяха там при Давид три дни и ядоха и пиха, защото братята им бяха приготвили за тях.

Moreover they that were nigh them, even unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.

Освен това и онези, които бяха близо до тях, до Исахар, Завулон и Нефталим им носеха храна с магарета, с камили, с мулета и с говеда — тестени храни, калъпи сушени смокини и сушено грозде, вино, маслинено масло, говеда и дребен добитък в голямо количество; защото беше веселие в Израил.
