Psalms 87

परमेश्वर ने यरूशलेम के पवित्र पहाड़ियों पर अपना मन्दिर बनाया।

His foundation is in the holy mountains.

यहोवा को इस्राएल के किसी भी स्थान से सिय्योन के द्वार अधिक भाते हैं।

The LORD loveth the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

हे परमेश्वर के नगर, तेरे विषय में लोग अद्भुत बातें बताते है।

Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.

परमेश्वर अपने लोगों की सूची रखता है। परमेश्वर के कुछ भक्त मिस्र और बाबेल में रहते है। कुछ लोग पलिश्ती, सोर और कूश तक में रहते हैं।

I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.

परमेश्वर हर एक जन को जो सिय्योन में पैदा हुए जानता है। इस नगर को परम परमेश्वर ने बनाया है।

And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her.

परमेश्वर अपने भक्तों की सूची रखता है। परमेश्वर जानता है कौन कहाँ पैदा हुआ।

The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah.

परमेश्वर के भक्त उत्सवों को मनाने यरूशलेम जाते हैं। परमेश्वर के भक्त गाते, नाचते और अति प्रसन्न रहते हैं। वे कहा करते हैं, “सभी उत्तम वस्तुएं यरूशलेम से आई?”

As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.
