Job 27

फिर अय्यूब ने आगे कहा:

Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

“सचमुच परमेश्वर जीता है और यह जितना सत्य है कि परमेश्वर जीता है सचमुच वह वैसे ही मेरे प्रति अन्यायपूर्ण रहा है। हाँ! सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर ने मेरे जीवन में कड़वाहट भरी है।

As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;

किन्तु जब तक मुझ में प्राण है और परमेश्वर का साँस मेरी नाक में है।

All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

तब तक मेरे होंठ बुरी बातें नहीं बोलेंगी, और मेरी जीभ कभी झूठ नहीं बोलेगी।

My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

मैं कभी नहीं मानूँगा कि तुम लोग सही हो! जब तक मैं मरूँगा उस दिन तक कहता रहूँगा कि मैं निर्दोष हूँ!

God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

मैं अपनी धार्मिकता को दृढ़ता से थामें रहूँगा। मैं कभी उचित कर्म करना न छोडूँगा। मेरी चेतना मुझे तंग नहीं करेगी जब तक मैं जीता हूँ।

My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

मेरे शत्रुओं को दुष्ट जैसा बनने दे, और उन्हें दण्डित होने दे जैसे दुष्ट जन दण्डित होते हैं।

Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

ऐसे उस व्यक्ति के लिये मरते समय कोई आशा नहीं है जो परमेश्वर की परवाह नहीं करता है। जब परमेश्वर उसके प्राण लेगा तब तक उसके लिये कोई आशा नहीं है।

For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained, when God taketh away his soul?

जब वह बुरा व्यक्ति दु:खी पड़ेगा और उसको पुकारेगा, परमेश्वर नहीं सुनेगा।

Will God hear his cry when trouble cometh upon him?

उसको चाहिये था कि वह उस आनन्द को चाहे जिसे केवल सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर देता है। उसको चाहिये की वह हर समय परमेश्वर से प्रार्थना करता रहा।

Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?

“मैं तुमको परमेश्वर की शक्ति सिखाऊँगा। मैं सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर की योजनायें नहीं छिपाऊँगा।

I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

स्वयं तूने निज आँखों से परमेश्वर की शक्ति देखी है, सो क्यों तू व्यर्थ बातें बनाता है

Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it; why then are ye thus altogether vain?

“दुष्ट लोगों के लिये परमेश्वर ने ऐसी योजना बनाई है, दुष्ट लोगों को सर्वशक्तिशाली परमेश्वर से ऐसा ही मिलेगा।

This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.

दुष्ट की चाहे कितनी ही संताने हों, किन्तु उसकी संताने युद्ध में मारी जायेंगी। दुष्ट की संताने कभी भरपेट खाना नहीं पायेंगी।

If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

और यदि दुष्ट की संताने उसकी मृत्यु के बाद भी जीवित रहें तो महामारी उनको मार डालेंगी! उनके पुत्रों की विधवायें उनके लिये दु:खी नहीं होंगी।

Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.

दुष्ट जन चाहे चाँदी के ढेर इकट्ठा करे, इतने विशाल ढेर जितनी धूल होती है, मिट्टी के ढेरों जैसे वस्त्र हो उसके पास

Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;

जिन वस्त्रों को दुष्ट जन जुटाता रहा उन वस्त्रों को सज्जन पहनेगा, दुष्ट की चाँदी निर्दोषों में बँटेगी।

He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

दुष्ट का बनाया हुआ घर अधिक दिनों नहीं टिकता है, वह मकड़ी के जाले सा अथवा किसी चौकीदार के छप्पर जैसा अस्थिर होता है।

He buildeth his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper maketh.

दुष्ट जन अपनी निज दौलत के साथ अपने बिस्तर पर सोने जाता है, किन्तु एक ऐसा दिन आयेगा जब वह फिर बिस्तर में वैसे ही नहीं जा पायेगा। जब वह आँख खोलेगा तो उसकी सम्पत्ति जा चुकेगी।

The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.

दु:ख अचानक आई हुई बाढ़ सा उसको झपट लेंगे, उसको रातों रात तूफान उड़ा ले जायेगा।

Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest stealeth him away in the night.

पुरवाई पवन उसको दूर उड़ा देगी, तूफान उसको बुहार कर उसके घर के बाहर करेगा।

The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth: and as a storm hurleth him out of his place.

दुष्ट जन तूफान की शक्ति से बाहर निकलने का जतन करेगा किन्तु तूफान उस पर बिना दया किये हुए चपेट मारेगा।

For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.

जब दुष्ट जन भागेगा, लोग उस पर तालियाँ बजायेंगे, दुष्ट जन जब निकल भागेगा। अपने घर से तो लोग उस पर सीटियाँ बजायेंगे।

Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
