Psalms 113

113:1
Lwanj pou Seyè a! Nou menm k'ap sèvi Seyè a, fè lwanj li!
Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD.
113:2
Se pou nou nonmen non l' depi koulye a epi pou tout tan tout tan.
Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore.
113:3
Depi kote solèy leve jouk kote solèy kouche, se pou yo fè lwanj Seyè a!
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S name is to be praised.
113:4
Seyè a dominen sou tout nasyon yo. Pouvwa li moute pi wo pase syèl la.
The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
113:5
Pa gen tankou Seyè a, Bondye nou an. Li chita anwo nèt.
Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwelleth on high,
113:6
Li bese je l' pou l' wè sa k'ap pase nan syèl la ak sou latè a.
Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
113:7
Li bay pòv malere a men pou fè l' leve soti nan pousyè a. Li wete l' nan mizè.
He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill;
113:8
Li fè l' chita menm kote ak chèf yo, wi, sou menm tab ak chèf pèp li a.
That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
113:9
Li bay fanm ki pa ka fè pitit la yon fanmi. Li fè kè l' kontan lakay li, li ba l' pitit. Lwanj pou Seyè a!
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
