Mark 16

Ja kuin sabbatti kulunut oli, osti Maria Magdalena ja Maria Jakobin ja Salome hyvänhajullisia voiteita, tullaksensa voitelemaan häntä.

And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.

Ja tulivat haudalle ensimäisenä sabbatin päivänä sangen varhain auringon noustessa.

And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

Ja puhuivat keskenänsä: kuka meille vierittää kiven haudan ovelta?

And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

Ja kuin he katsoivat, näkivät he kiven vieritetyksi; sillä se oli sangen suuri.

And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.

Ja kuin he olivat hautaan menneet sisälle, näkivät he yhden nuorukaisen istuvan oikealla puolella, joka oli vaatetettu pitkällä valkialla vaatteella; ja he hämmästyivät.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.

Mutta hän sanoi heille: älkäät hämmästykö! te etsitte Jesusta Natsarealaista, joka ristiinnaulittu oli. Hän nousi ylös, ei hän ole täällä: katso siaa, kuhunka he hänen panivat;

And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

Mutta menkäät ja sanokaat hänen opetuslapsillensa ja Pietarille, että hän käy teidän edellänne Galileaan: siellä te hänen näette, niinkuin hän sanoi teille.

But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.

Ja he menivät nopiasti ulos ja pakenivat haudalta; sillä vapistus ja suuri hämmästys oli heidän päällensä tullut, ei he myös kellenkään mitään sanoneet; sillä he pelkäsivät.

And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.

Mutta kuin Jesus oli varhain ensimäisenä sabbatin päivänä noussut ylös, ilmestyi hän ensin Maria Magdalenalle, josta hän seitsemän perkelettä oli ajanut ulos.

Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.

Se meni ja ilmoitti niille, jotka hänen kanssansa olleet olivat, jotka murehtivat ja itkivät.

And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.

And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked, and went into the country.

Ne myös menivät ja julistivat muille. Ja ei he niitäkään uskoneet.

And they went and told it unto the residue: neither believed they them.

Viimein, kuin yksitoistakymmentä atrioitsivat, ilmestyi hän, ja soimasi heidän epäuskoansa ja heidän sydämensä kankiutta, ettei he uskoneet niitä, jotka nänen nähneet olivat nousseeksi ylös.

Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.

Ja sanoi heille: menkäät kaikkeen maailmaan, ja saarnatkaat evankeliumia kaikille luoduille.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Joka uskoo ja kastetaan, se tulee autuaaksi; mutta joka ei usko, se kadotetaan.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Mutta nämä ovat ne merkit, jotka niitä seuraavat, jotka uskovat: minun nimeni kautta pitää heidän perkeleet ajaman ulos, uusilla kielillä puhuman,

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Käärmeet ajaman pois, ja jos he jotakin myrkkyä juovat, niin ei heille mitään vahingoita; sairasten päälle pitää heidän kätensä paneman, ja ne paranevat.

They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Ja Herra, sitte kuin hän oli heille puhunut, otettiin ylös taivaaseen ja istui Jumalan oikialle kädelle.

So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Mutta he menivät ja saarnasivat joka paikassa, ja Herra vaikutti heidän kanssansa ja vahvisti sanan seuraavaisten merkkien kautta.

And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
