Nämät olivat Davidin pojat, jotka hänelle syntyneet olivat Hebronissa: Amnon esikoinen, joka syntyi Ahinoamista Jisreeliläisestä, toinen Daniel Abigailista Karmelilaisesta.

Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:

The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:

The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.

Nämät kuusi ovat hänelle syntyneet Hebronissa. Ja hän hallitsi siellä seitsemän vuotta ja kuusi kuukautta; mutta Jerusalemissa hallitsi hän kolmeneljättäkymmentä ajastaikaa.

These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.

Ja nämät ovat hänelle syntyneet Jerusalemissa: Simea, Sobab, Natan ja Salomo, ne neljä Batsuasta Ammeelin tyttärestä.

And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath–shua the daughter of Ammiel:

Sitte Jibhar, Elisama ja Eliphalet,

Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,

Nogah, Nepheg ja Japhia,

And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,

Elisama, Eljada, Eliphelet; ne yhdeksän.

And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.

Nämät ovat kaikki Davidin pojat; ilman muiden vaimoin lapsia. Ja Tamar oli heidän sisarensa.

These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.

Rehabeam oli Salomon poika, hänen poikansa Abia, hänen poikansa Asa, hänen poikansa Josaphat,

And Solomon's son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,

Hänen poikansa Joram, hänen poikansa Ahasia, hänen poikansa Joas,

Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,

Hänen poikansa Amasia, hänen poikansa Asaria, hänen poikansa Jotam,

Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,

Hänen poikansa Ahas, hänen poikansa Hiskia, hänen poikansa Manasse,

Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,

Hänen poikansa Amon, hänen poikansa Josia.

Amon his son, Josiah his son.

Mutta Josian pojat olivat: esikoinen Johanan, toinen Jojakim, kolmas Zidkia, neljäs Sallum.

And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.

Mutta Jojakimin lapset: Jekonia hänen poikansa, Zidkia hänen poikansa.

And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.

And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son,

Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

Pedajan pojat, Zerubbabel ja Simi; Zerubbabelin pojat Mesullam ja Hanania, ja heidän sisarensa Selomit,

And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:

Hasuba, Ohel, Berekia, Hasadia, Jusabhesed; ne viisi.

And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab–hesed, five.

Hananian pojat Pelatja ja Jesaja; Rephajan pojat, Arnanin pojat, Obadian pojat, Sekanian pojat.

And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.

Mutta Sekanian lapset: Semaja; ja Semajan lapset: Hattus, Jigal, Baria, Nearia, Saphat; ne kuusi.

And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah: and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.

Nearin lapset: Eljoenai, Hiskia, Asrikam; ne kolme.

And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.

Eljoenain lapset: Hodajeva, Eljasib, Pelaja, Akkub, Johanan, Delaja ja Anani; ne seitsemän.

And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.
