Psalms 29

ای فرشتگان آسمان، خداوند را ستایش کنید. جلال و قدرت او را ستایش نمایید.

Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

نام پُرجلال خداوند را بستایید، او را با لباس پرهیزکاری بپرستید.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

صدای خداوند از فراز اقیانوسها شنیده می‌شود، خدای جلال می‌غرّد و صدای او بر بالای اقیانوسها طنین می‌افکند.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

صدای خداوند با هیبت و با شکوه است.

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

صدای خداوند سروهای آزاد را می‌شکند، حتّی سروهای آزاد لبنان را.

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

کوههای لبنان و حرمون را مانند گوساله به جنبش در می‌آورد.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

صدای خداوند رعد و برق پدید می‌آورد.

The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

صدای خداوند بیابان را به لرزه در می‌آورد و صحرای قادش را می‌جنباند.

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

صدای خداوند درختان بلوط را تکان می‌دهد، و درختان جنگل را بی‌برگ می‌سازد. همه در معبد بزرگ او فریاد می‌زنند: «بر خداوند جلال باد!»

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.

خداوند به عنوان پادشاه ابدی بر فراز توفانها جلوس فرموده است.

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

خداوند به قوم خود قدرت عطا فرماید و برکت و آرامش ببخشد!

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
