Romans 12

Mi do vin petas, fratoj, pro la kompatoj de Dio, ke vi prezentu viajn korpojn kiel vivantan oferon, sanktan, plaĉantan al Dio, kio estas via racia servo.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Kaj ne konformiĝu al ĉi tiu mondo; sed aliformiĝu per renovigado de via menso, por ke vi provu, kio estas la bona kaj aprobinda kaj perfekta volo de Dio.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Ĉar mi diras al ĉiu el vi, per la graco al mi donita, ke li ne tro estimu sin, sed estimu sin kun modereco, laŭ mezuro de la fido, kiun Dio disdonis al ĉiu.

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Ĉar kiel ni havas multajn membrojn en unu korpo, kaj ne ĉiuj membroj havas la saman funkcion,

For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

tiel same ni multaj estas unu korpo en Kristo, kaj ĉiuj aparte membroj unu de alia.

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Sed havante donacojn diversajn laŭ la graco donita al ni, ĉu profetadon, ni profetu laŭ la mezuro de nia fido;

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

aŭ servadon, ni laboru en nia servado; aŭ instruanto, en sia instruado;

Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

aŭ admonanto, en sia admonado; la disdonanto agu malavare, la administranto kun diligenteco, la kompatanto kun ĝojo.

Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

Via amo estu sen hipokriteco. Abomenu tion, kio estas malbona; algluiĝu al la bona.

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

En fratamo estu kore unuigitaj unu al alia, honore preferantaj unu la alian;

Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

en diligenteco ne malviglaj, en spirito fervoraj, servantaj la Sinjoron;

Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

en espero ĝojaj, en aflikto paciencaj, en preĝado persistaj;

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

kotizantaj por la bezonoj de la sanktuloj, sekvantaj gastamecon.

Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.

Benu tiujn, kiuj vin persekutas; benu, kaj ne malbenu.

Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

Ĝoju kun ĝojantoj, ploru kun plorantoj.

Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Estu simpatiaj unu al alia. Ne pripensadu altajn aferojn, sed klinadu vin al humilaj aferoj. Ne opiniu vin saĝaj.

Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.

Redonu al neniu malbonon pro malbono. Celu aprobindaĵojn antaŭ ĉiuj homoj.

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

Se estos eble, restu pacaj viaparte kun ĉiuj homoj.

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Ne venĝu vin, amataj, sed cedu lokon al kolero; ĉar estas skribite: Ĉe Mi estas venĝo, Mi repagos, diras la Sinjoro.

Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Sed se via malamiko malsatas, donu al li manĝi; se li soifas, donu al li trinki; ĉar tion farante, fajrajn karbojn vi kolektos sur lia kapo.

Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

Ne venkiĝu de malbono, sed venku malbonon per bono.

Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
