Psalms 76

Dio estas konata en Judujo; Granda estas Lia nomo en Izrael.

In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel.

En Salem estas Lia tendo, Kaj Lia loĝejo sur Cion.

In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.

Tie Li rompis la sagojn de pafarko, Ŝildon, glavon, kaj militon. Sela.

There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.

Vi estas majesta kaj potenca sur la sovaĝbestaj montoj.

Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

Senarmiĝis la fortkoruloj, endormiĝis; Kaj ĉiuj militistoj restis kvazaŭ sen manoj.

The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.

De Via minaco, ho Dio de Jakob, Paraliziĝis rajdisto kaj ĉevalo.

At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

Vi, Vi estas timinda; Kaj kiu restos staranta antaŭ Vi, kiam ekflamas Via kolero?

Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

El la ĉielo Vi aŭdigis juĝon; La tero ektimis kaj eksilentis,

Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

Kiam Dio leviĝis, por juĝi, Por savi ĉiujn humilulojn sur la tero. Sela.

When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

Ĉar la kolero de homo fariĝas Via gloro, Kiam Vi zonas Vin per la resto de Via kolero.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

Faru kaj plenumu promesojn al la Eternulo, via Dio; Vi ĉiuj, kiuj Lin ĉirkaŭas, alportu donacojn al la Timindulo.

Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

Li humiligis la spiriton de potenculoj; Li estas timinda por la reĝoj de la tero.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
