II Corinthians 11

Mi volas, ke vi pacience toleru min pro iom da malsaĝeco; sed efektive vi ja pacience min toleras.

Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.

Ĉar mi ĵaluzas pri vi per Dia ĵaluzo, ĉar mi fianĉigis vin al unu edzo, por ke mi prezentu vin kiel ĉastan virgulinon al Kristo.

For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Sed mi timas, ke kiel trompis Evan la serpento per sia ruzeco, viaj animoj iel dekliniĝos for de la simpleco kaj la ĉasteco, kiu estas en Kristo.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Ĉar se iu vizitanto predikas alian Kriston, kiun ni ne predikis, aŭ se vi ricevas malsaman spiriton, kiun vi ne ricevis, aŭ malsaman evangelion, kiun vi ne akceptis, facilanime vi lin toleras.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Ĉar mi opinias, ke mi neniel malsuperas la plej eminentajn apostolojn.

For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

Kaj kvankam mi estas neklera laŭ parolo, mi tamen ne tia estas laŭ scio; sed en ĉio ni malkaŝe agis ĉe vi inter ĉiuj.

But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

Aŭ ĉu mi pekis, humiligante min, por ke vi estu altigitaj, en tio, ke mi senpage predikis al vi la evangelion de Dio?

Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

Mi senigis aliajn ekleziojn, ricevante de ili pagon, por servi al vi;

I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

kaj kiam mi ĉeestis ĉe vi kaj havis mankon, mi ne estis ŝarĝo sur iu; ĉar la fratoj, veninte el Makedonujo, plenigis la mezuron de mia bezono; kaj en ĉio mi tenis min ne ŝarĝa rilate vin, kaj ankoraŭ tenos.

And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

Jen estas la vero de Kristo en mi, ke ĉi tiu fanfarono ne estos barita kontraŭ mi en la regionoj Aĥajaj.

As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

Kial? ĉu tial, ke mi vin ne amas? Dio scias.

Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.

Sed kiel mi faras, tiel mi ankaŭ faros, por forigi la pretekston al tiuj, kiuj deziras pretekston, por ke, en kio ili fieras, ili troviĝu samaj, kiel ni.

But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

Ĉar tiaj homoj estas falsaj apostoloj, trompemaj laboristoj, sin aliformante kvazaŭ apostolojn de Kristo.

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

Kaj nenia miro; ĉar Satano mem sin aliformas kvazaŭ anĝelon de lumo.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Estas do nenio granda, se liaj servantoj ankaŭ sin aliformas kvazaŭ servantojn de justeco; ilia finiĝo estos laŭ iliaj faroj.

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Denove mi diras: Neniu opiniu min malsaĝa; sed se vi ja tiel opinias min, tamen min akceptu kiel malsaĝan, por ke mi ankaŭ iom fanfaronu.

I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

Tion, kion mi diras, mi diras ne laŭ la Sinjoro, sed kvazaŭ malsaĝe, en ĉi tiu insistado pri fierado.

That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

Ĉar multaj fanfaronas laŭ la karno, do mi ankaŭ fanfaronos.

Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

Ĉar vi afable toleras malsaĝulojn, estante mem saĝaj.

For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.

Ĉar vi toleras homon, se li vin sklavigas, se li vin formanĝas, se li vin kaptas, se li sin altigas, se li batas al vi la vizaĝon.

For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.

Mi parolas kvazaŭ per sinmallaŭdo, kvazaŭ ni estus malfortiĝintaj. Tamen pri kio iu kuraĝas, pri tio (mi parolas en malsaĝeco) mi ankaŭ kuraĝas.

I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Howbeit whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

Ĉu ili estas Hebreoj? mi ankaŭ. Ĉu ili estas Izraelidoj? mi ankaŭ. Ĉu ili estas el la idaro de Abraham? mi ankaŭ.

Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

Ĉu ili estas servantoj al Kristo? (mi parolas kiel frenezulo) mi plie; en laboroj pli abunde, en malliberejoj pli abunde, en batoj supermezure, en mortiĝoj ofte.

Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft.

De la Judoj kvinfoje mi ricevis batojn po kvardek sen unu.

Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

Trifoje mi estas batita per vergoj, unufoje mi estas priĵetita per ŝtonoj, trifoje mi suferis ŝippereon, nokton kaj tagon mi pasis en la profunda maro;

Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

en oftaj vojaĝoj, en danĝeroj de riveroj, danĝeroj de rabistoj, danĝeroj de Judoj, danĝeroj de la nacianoj, danĝeroj en urbo, danĝeroj en dezerto, danĝeroj en la maro, danĝeroj inter falsaj fratoj;

In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

en laboro kaj sufero, en oftaj sendormiĝoj, en malsato kaj soifo, en oftaj fastoj, en malvarmo kaj senvesteco.

In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

Krom tiuj aferoj eksteraj estas tio, kio min premas ĉiutage, nome la zorgado pri ĉiuj eklezioj.

Beside those things that are without, that which cometh upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

Kiu estas malforta, kaj mi ne estas malforta? kiu estas faligata, kaj mi ne indignas?

Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

Se mi nepre devas fanfaroni, mi fanfaronos pri tio, kio rilatas al mia malforteco.

If I must needs glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

La Dio kaj Patro de la Sinjoro Jesuo, Tiu, kiu ĉiam estas benata, scias, ke mi ne mensogas.

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knoweth that I lie not.

En Damasko, la urbestro sub la reĝo Aretas starigis gardistaron en la urbo de la Damaskanoj, por min kapti;

In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:

kaj tra fenestro oni min delasis laŭflanke de la muro en korbo, kaj mi eliĝis de liaj manoj.

And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
