I Kings 4

Kaj la reĝo Salomono estis reĝo super la tuta Izrael.

So king Solomon was king over all Israel.

Kaj jen estas la estroj, kiuj estis ĉe li: Azarja, filo de Cadok, pastro;

And these were the princes which he had; Azariah the son of Zadok the priest,

Eliĥoref kaj Aĥija, filoj de Ŝiŝa, skribistoj; Jehoŝafat, filo de Aĥilud, kronikisto;

Elihoreph and Ahiah, the sons of Shisha, scribes; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud, the recorder.

kaj Benaja, filo de Jehojada, super la militistaro; kaj Cadok kaj Ebjatar, pastroj;

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the host: and Zadok and Abiathar were the priests:

kaj Azarja, filo de Natan, super la administrantoj; kaj Zabud, filo de Natan, pastro, amiko de la reĝo;

And Azariah the son of Nathan was over the officers: and Zabud the son of Nathan was principal officer, and the king's friend:

kaj Aĥiŝar super la palaco; kaj Adoniram, filo de Abda, super la impostoj.

And Ahishar was over the household: and Adoniram the son of Abda was over the tribute.

Kaj Salomono havis dek du administrantojn super la tuta Izrael, kaj ili liveradis provizaĵojn al la reĝo kaj al lia domo; unu monaton en jaro ĉiu el ili devis liveri provizaĵojn.

And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

Kaj jen estas iliaj nomoj: Ben-Ĥur, sur la monto de Efraim;

And these are their names: The son of Hur, in mount Ephraim:

Ben-Deker, en Makac kaj Ŝaalbim kaj Bet-Ŝemeŝ kaj Elon-Bet-Ĥanan;

The son of Dekar, in Makaz, and in Shaalbim, and Beth–shemesh, and Elon–beth–hanan:

Ben-Ĥesed, en Arubot; al li apartenis Soĥo kaj la tuta regiono Ĥefer;

The son of Hesed, in Aruboth; to him pertained Sochoh, and all the land of Hepher:

Ben-Abinadab, super la tuta regiono Dor; Tafat, filino de Salomono, estis lia edzino;

The son of Abinadab, in all the region of Dor; which had Taphath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

Baana, filo de Aĥilud, en Taanaĥ kaj Megido kaj super la tuta Bet-Ŝean, kiu estas apud Cartan, malsupre de Jizreel, de Bet-Ŝean ĝis Abel-Meĥola, ĝis trans Jokmeam;

Baana the son of Ahilud; to him pertained Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth–shean, which is by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth–shean to Abel–meholah, even unto the place that is beyond Jokneam:

Ben-Geber, en Ramot en Gilead; al li apartenis la Vilaĝoj de Jair, filo de Manase, kiuj estis en Gilead; al li apartenis la distrikto Argob, kiu estis en Baŝan, sesdek grandaj urboj kun muregoj kaj kupraj rigliloj;

The son of Geber, in Ramoth–gilead; to him pertained the towns of Jair the son of Manasseh, which are in Gilead; to him also pertained the region of Argob, which is in Bashan, threescore great cities with walls and brasen bars:

Aĥinadab, filo de Ido, en Maĥanaim;

Ahinadab the son of Iddo had Mahanaim:

Aĥimaac, en la regiono de Naftali; ankaŭ li prenis Basmaton, filinon de Salomono, kiel edzinon;

Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:

Baana, filo de Ĥuŝaj, en la regiono de Aŝer kaj en Alot;

Baanah the son of Hushai was in Asher and in Aloth:

Jehoŝafat, filo de Paruaĥ, en la regiono de Isaĥar;

Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:

Ŝimei, filo de Ela, en la regiono de Benjamen;

Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:

Geber, filo de Uri, en la regiono Gilead, en la lando de Siĥon, reĝo de la Amoridoj, kaj de Og, reĝo de Baŝan. Unu administranto estis en tiu tuta lando.

Geber the son of Uri was in the country of Gilead, in the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and he was the only officer which was in the land.

Jehuda kaj Izrael estis grandnombraj kiel la sablo ĉe la maro; ili manĝis kaj trinkis kaj estis gajaj.

Judah and Israel were many, as the sand which is by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.

Salomono regis super ĉiuj regnoj, de la Rivero ĝis la lando Filiŝta kaj ĝis la limo de Egiptujo; ili alportadis donacojn kaj servadis al Salomono dum lia tuta vivo.

And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

La manĝprovizoj de Salomono por ĉiu tago estis: tridek kor’oj da delikata faruno kaj sesdek kor’oj da simpla faruno,

And Solomon's provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,

dek grasigitaj bovoj kaj dudek bovoj de paŝtejo kaj cent ŝafoj, krom cervoj kaj gazeloj kaj kapreoloj kaj grasigitaj birdoj.

Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.

Ĉar li regis super la tuta transo de la Rivero, de Tifsaĥ ĝis Gaza, super ĉiuj reĝoj de trans la Rivero; kaj li havis pacon kun ĉiuj ĉirkaŭaj landoj.

For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.

Kaj Jehuda kaj Izrael sidis en sendanĝereco, ĉiu sub siaj vinberbranĉoj kaj sub sia figarbo, de Dan ĝis Beer-Ŝeba, dum la tuta vivo de Salomono.

And Judah and Israel dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer–sheba, all the days of Solomon.

Kaj Salomono havis kvardek mil stalojn por ĉarĉevaloj kaj dek du mil rajdistojn.

And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

Kaj tiuj administrantoj liveradis manĝprovizojn por la reĝo Salomono, kaj por ĉiuj, kiuj venadis al la tablo de la reĝo Salomono, ĉiu en sia monato, nenion mankigante.

And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon's table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.

Kaj la hordeon kaj pajlon por la ĉevaloj kaj la kurĉevaloj ili liveradis al la loko, kie li estis, ĉiu laŭ sia instrukcio.

Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where the officers were, every man according to his charge.

Kaj Dio donis al Salomono saĝon kaj tre multe da prudento kaj tre multe da spirito, kiel la sablo ĉe la maro.

And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.

Kaj la saĝeco de Salomono estis pli granda, ol la saĝeco de ĉiuj orientanoj kaj ol la tuta saĝeco de Egiptujo.

And Solomon's wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.

Kaj li estis pli saĝa, ol ĉiuj homoj, pli ol Etan la Ezraĥido, kaj Heman kaj Kalkol kaj Darda, filoj de Maĥol; kaj li estis fama inter ĉiuj popoloj ĉirkaŭe.

For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.

Kaj li eldiris tri mil sentencojn; kaj la nombro de liaj kantoj estis mil kaj kvin.

And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

Kaj li parolis pri la arboj, de la cedro, kiu estas sur Lebanon, ĝis la hisopo, kiu elkreskas el la muro; kaj li parolis pri la brutoj kaj la birdoj kaj la rampaĵoj kaj la fiŝoj.

And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that is in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.

Kaj oni venadis el ĉiuj popoloj, por aŭskulti la saĝecon de Salomono, de ĉiuj reĝoj de la tero, kiuj aŭdis pri lia saĝeco.

And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.
