Jen estas la filoj de Izrael: Ruben, Simeon, Levi, Jehuda, Isaĥar, Zebulun,
These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,

Dan, Jozef, Benjamen, Naftali, Gad, kaj Aŝer.

The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.

Kaj lia bofilino Tamar naskis al li Perecon kaj Zeraĥon. La nombro de ĉiuj filoj de Jehuda estis kvin.
And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.

The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.

And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.

And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

Ram naskigis Aminadabon; Aminadab naskigis Naĥŝonon, princon de la idoj de Jehuda;
And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;

Naĥŝon naskigis Salman; Salma naskigis Boazon;
And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,

Boaz naskigis Obedon; Obed naskigis Jiŝajon;
And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.

And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.

Kaleb, filo de Ĥecron, naskigis de sia edzino Azuba kaj de Jeriot; jen estas ŝiaj filoj: Jeŝer, Ŝobab, kaj Ardon.
And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

Kiam mortis Azuba, Kaleb prenis al si Efratan, kaj ŝi naskis al li Ĥuron.
And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

Ĥur naskigis Urin; kaj Uri naskigis Becalelon.
And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.

Poste Ĥecron envenis al la filino de Maĥir, patro de Gilead; li prenis ŝin, kiam li havis la aĝon de sesdek jaroj, kaj ŝi naskis al li Segubon.
And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.

Segub naskigis Jairon, kaj li havis dudek tri urbojn en la lando Gilead.
And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.

Sed la Geŝuranoj kaj Sirianoj forprenis de ili la Vilaĝojn de Jair, Kenaton kaj ĝiajn dependaĵojn, sesdek urbetojn. Ĉiuj ĉi tiuj estis la filoj de Maĥir, patro de Gilead.
And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

Post la morto de Ĥecron en Kaleb-Efrata la edzino de Ĥecron, Abija, naskis al li Aŝĥuron, la fondinton de Tekoa.
And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb–ephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.

La filoj de Jeraĥmeel, unuenaskito de Ĥecron, estis: la unuenaskito Ram, poste Buna, Oren, Ocem, kaj Aĥija.
And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.

Jeraĥmeel havis ankaŭ alian edzinon, ŝia nomo estis Atara; ŝi estis la patrino de Onam.
Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.

La filoj de Ram, la unuenaskito de Jeraĥmeel, estis: Maac, Jamin, kaj Eker.
And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
2:28
La filoj de Onam estis: Ŝamaj kaj Jada. La filoj de Ŝamaj estis: Nadab kaj Abiŝur.
And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.

La nomo de la edzino de Abiŝur estis Abiĥail; ŝi naskis al li Aĥbanon kaj Molidon.
And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
2:30
La filoj de Nadab estis: Seled kaj Apaim. Seled mortis sen infanoj.
And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
2:31
La filo de Apaim estis Jiŝei. La filo de Jiŝei estis Ŝeŝan. La filo de Ŝeŝan estis Aĥlaj.
And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.
2:32
La filoj de Jada, frato de Ŝamaj, estis: Jeter kaj Jonatan. Jeter mortis sen infanoj.
And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.

La filoj de Jonatan estis: Pelet kaj Zaza. Tio estis la idoj de Jeraĥmeel.
And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.

Ŝeŝan ne havis filojn, sed nur filinojn. Ŝeŝan havis sklavon Egipton, kies nomo estis Jarĥa;
Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.

kaj Ŝeŝan donis sian filinon kiel edzinon al sia sklavo Jarĥa, kaj ŝi naskis al li Atajon.
And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.

And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,

Zabad naskigis Eflalon; kaj Eflal naskigis Obedon.
And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,

Obed naskigis Jehun, kaj Jehu naskigis Azarjan.
And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,

Azarja naskigis Ĥelecon; kaj Ĥelec naskigis Eleasan.
And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,

Eleasa naskigis Sismajon; kaj Sismaj naskigis Ŝalumon.
And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

Ŝalum naskigis Jekamjan; kaj Jekamja naskigis Eliŝaman.
And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
2:42
La filoj de Kaleb, frato de Jeraĥmeel: lia unuenaskito Meŝa, kiu estis la fondinto de Zif; kaj la filoj de Mareŝa, fondinto de Ĥebron.
Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.

La filoj de Ĥebron: Koraĥ, Tapuaĥ, Rekem, kaj Ŝema.
And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.

Ŝema naskigis Raĥamon, fondinton de Jorkeam; kaj Rekem naskigis Ŝamajon.
And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.

La filo de Ŝamaj estis Maon; kaj Maon estis la fondinto de Bet-Cur.
And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth–zur.

Kaj Efa, kromvirino de Kaleb, naskis Ĥaranon, Mocan, kaj Gazezon; kaj Ĥaran naskigis Gazezon.
And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.

La filoj de Jedaj estis: Regem, Jotam, Geŝan, Pelet, Efa, kaj Ŝaaf.
And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.

Maaĥa, kromvirino de Kaleb, naskis Ŝeberon kaj Tirĥanan.
Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.
2:49
Ŝi naskis ankaŭ Ŝaafon, la fondinton de Madmana, Ŝevan, la fondinton de Maĥbena kaj la fondinton de Gibea. La filino de Kaleb estis Aĥsa.
She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.

Tio estis la idoj de Kaleb: la filo de Ĥur, unuenaskito de Efrata: Ŝobal, fondinto de Kirjat-Jearim,
These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath–jearim,

Salma, fondinto de Bet-Leĥem, Ĥaref, fondinto de Bet-Gader.
Salma the father of Beth–lehem, Hareph the father of Beth–gader.

Ŝobal, fondinto de Kirjat-Jearim, havis la filojn: Haroe, duono de la Menuĥot.
And Shobal the father of Kirjath–jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.

La familioj de Kirjat-Jearim estis: la Jetridoj, la Putidoj, la Ŝumatidoj, la Miŝraidoj. De ĉi tiuj devenis la Coreaidoj kaj la Eŝtaolidoj.
And the families of Kirjath–jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.

La idoj de Salma: la Bet-Leĥemanoj, la Netofaanoj, la Atrotanoj de la domo de Joab, la duono de la Manaĥatanoj, la Coreanoj;
The sons of Salma; Beth–lehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.
2:55
kaj la familioj de la skribistoj, kiuj loĝis en Jabec, la Tiratidoj, Ŝimeatidoj, kaj Suĥatidoj; tio estis la Kenidoj, kiuj devenis de Ĥamat, la fondinto de Bet-Reĥab.
And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
