Psalms 47

(По слав. 46) За първия певец. Псалм на Кореевите синове. Ръкопляскайте, всички народи, викнете към Бога с глас на тържество!

O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.

Защото ГОСПОД, Всевишният, е страшен, велик Цар над цялата земя.

For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.

Покори народи под нас и племена — под краката ни.

He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

Избра за нас наследството ни, славата на Яков, когото възлюби. (Села.)

He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.

Бог се въздигна сред възклицание; ГОСПОД — сред глас на тръба.

God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.

Пейте на Бога псалми, пейте псалми! Пейте на нашия Цар псалми, пейте псалми!

Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.

Защото Бог е Цар на цялата земя — пейте псалми с разбиране.

For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.

Бог царува над народите; Бог седи на Своя свят престол.

God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness.

Благородните на народите се събраха с народа на Бога на Авраам, защото земните царе принадлежат на Бога. Той е превъзвишен.

The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.
