Psalms 149

(По слав. 148) Алилуя! Пейте на ГОСПОДА нова песен, хвалението Му — в събранието на светиите.

Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Нека се весели Израил за Създателя си, нека се радват синовете на Сион за Царя си.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Нека хвалят Името Му с хорћ, нека Му пеят псалми с тъпанче и арфа!

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Защото ГОСПОД благоволява в народа Си, ще украси смирените със спасение.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Светиите ще тържествуват в слава, ще се радват на леглата си!

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

Славословия на Бога ще бъдат в устата им и двуостър меч — в ръката им,

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;

за да извършат възмездие над народите и наказание над племената,

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

за да вържат царете им с вериги и благородните им — с железни окови,

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

за да извършат над тях написания съд. Тази чест принадлежи на всички Негови светии! Алилуя!

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
