Proverbs 11

Лъжливи везни са мерзост за ГОСПОДА, а точни грамове имат Неговото благоволение.

A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

Дойде ли гордост, идва и срам, а мъдростта е със смирените.

When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

Чистотата на искрените ще ги води, а лъжливостта на неверните ще ги погуби.

The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

В ден на гняв богатствата не ползват, а правдата избавя от смърт.

Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Правдата на непорочния ще изравнява пътя му, а безбожният ще падне чрез безбожието си.

The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

Правдата на искрените ще ги избави, а неверните ще се хванат в алчността си.

The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.

Когато умира безбожният, загива очакването му и надеждата на грешните загива.

When a wicked man dieth, his expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust men perisheth.

Праведният се избавя от беда, а безбожният заема неговото място.

The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

Лицемерът погубва ближния си с устата си, а праведните ще се избавят чрез знание.

An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

Когато праведните добруват, градът се весели и когато безбожните погиват, има радост.

When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting.

Чрез благословението на праведните градът се възвишава, а чрез устата на безбожните се съсипва.

By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

Който презира ближния си, няма разум, а благоразумният човек мълчи.

He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.

Който ходи наоколо като клюкар, открива тайни, а верният по дух покрива работата.

A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.

Когато няма ръководене, народът пада, а в многото съветници има спасение.

Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Който поръчителства за чужд човек, ще пострада, а който мрази поръчителството, е в безопасност.

He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.

Благодатна жена придобива чест, а насилниците придобиват богатства.

A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong men retain riches.

Милостивият човек прави добро на душата си, а жестокият смущава плътта си.

The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

Злият придобива измамна печалба, но който сее правда, получава трайна награда.

The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.

Както правдата е за живот, така, който следва злото, съдейства за смъртта си.

As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death.

Лъжливите по сърце са мерзост за ГОСПОДА, а непорочните в пътя имат Неговото благоволение.

They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are his delight.

Ръка с ръка да се съедини, злият няма да остане ненаказан, а потомството на праведните ще се избави.

Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

Както е златна халка на зурлата на свиня, така е и красива жена без разум.

As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.

Желанието на праведните е само добро, а очакването на нечестивите е гняв.

The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

Един разпръсва, но изобилства повече, а друг пести без мярка, но пак достига до оскъдност.

There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.

Благотворителната душа ще бъде наситена и който пои, сам ще бъде напоен.

The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Който задържа жито, народът ще го проклина, а благословение ще почива на главата на този, който го продава.

He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.

Който усърдно търси доброто, търси благоволение, а който търси злото, то ще дойде върху него.

He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.

Който се уповава на богатствата си, ще падне, а праведните ще процъфтяват като зеленина.

He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

Който смущава дома си, ще наследи вятър и безумният ще бъде слуга на мъдрия по сърце.

He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.

Плодът на праведния е дърво на живот и който е мъдър, печели души.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

Ето, на праведния се въздава на земята, а колко повече на безбожния и грешния!

Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
