Leviticus 21

И ГОСПОД каза на Мойсей: Говори на свещениците, синовете на Аарон, и им кажи: Никой от вас да не се осквернява между народа си заради мъртвец,

And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:

освен за кръвен роднина, който му е близък — за майка си, за баща си, за сина си, за дъщеря си, или за брат си;

But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,

също и за сестра си девица, която е била при него, и която не е била омъжена, заради нея може да се оскверни.

And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.

Като началник на народа си да не се оскверни, така че да стане нечист.

But he shall not defile himself, being a chief man among his people, to profane himself.

Да не бръснат главата си и да не бръснат краищата на брадите си, и да не правят нарязвания по телата си.

They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.

Свети да бъдат на своя Бог и да не оскверняват Името на своя Бог, защото те принасят жертвите чрез огън на ГОСПОДА, хляба на своя Бог — затова да бъдат свети.

They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.

Да не вземат жена, която е блудница или осквернена, и да не вземат жена, разведена с мъжа си; защото той е свят на своя Бог.

They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.

И ти го имай за свят, защото той принася хляба на твоя Бог. Свят да ти бъде, защото Аз съм свят, ГОСПОД, който ви освещавам.

Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.

И ако дъщерята на някой свещеник се оскверни с блудство, тя осквернява баща си — с огън да се изгори.

And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

И онзи, който е първосвещеник между братята си, на чиято глава се е изляло маслото за помазване и който е бил посветен, за да облича свещените одежди, да не открива главата си и да не раздира дрехите си,

And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;

да не влиза при някой умрял; и за баща си или за майка си да не се осквернява.

Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;

Да не излиза от светилището или да осквернява светилището на своя Бог; защото посвещаването чрез помазване с маслото на неговия Бог е на него. Аз съм ГОСПОД.

Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the LORD.

И той да вземе жена девица.

And he shall take a wife in her virginity.

Вдовица или разведена, или осквернена, или блудница да не взема, а да вземе за жена девица от народа си.

A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.

И да не осквернява потомството си между народа си, защото Аз съм ГОСПОД, който го освещавам.

Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.

И ГОСПОД говори на Мойсей и каза:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Говори на Аарон и му кажи: Който от твоето потомство, в поколенията им, има недостатък, той да не пристъпва да принася хляб на своя Бог.

Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.

Защото никой, който има недостатък, не бива да пристъпва — човек сляп или куц, или със сплескан нос, или с нещо излишно,

For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,

или човек със счупен крак или счупена ръка,

Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,

или гърбав, или джудже, или с повредени очи, или със суха краста, или с лишеи, или със смачкани семенници.

Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;

Нито един човек от потомството на свещеника Аарон, който има недостатък, да не се приближава, за да принесе жертвите чрез огън на ГОСПОДА; понеже има недостатък, не бива да се приближава да принесе хляба на своя Бог.

No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.

Нека яде хляба на своя Бог от пресветите и от светите жертви,

He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

но да не влиза до завесата и да не се приближава при олтара, понеже има недостатък, за да не омърсява Моите светилища; защото Аз съм ГОСПОД, който ги освещавам.

Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

И така, Мойсей каза това на Аарон и на синовете му, и на всичките израилеви синове.

And Moses told it unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel.
