Judges 6

И израилевите синове пак вършиха зло пред ГОСПОДА и ГОСПОД ги предаде в ръката на Мадиам за седем години.

And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.

И ръката на Мадиам взе надмощие над Израил. Заради мадиамците израилевите синове си направиха скалните дупки в планините и пещерите, и непристъпните места.

And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.

И когато Израил посееше, мадиамците идваха с амаличаните и източните жители и излизаха срещу тях.

And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

И се разполагаха на стан срещу тях и унищожаваха реколтата на земята чак до Газа, и не оставяха храна за Израил, нито дребен добитък, нито говедо, нито магаре.

And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.

Защото идваха с добитъка си и с шатрите си и нахлуваха многобройни като скакалци; и те, и камилите им бяха безброй; и навлизаха в земята, за да я опустошават.

For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.

И Израил обедня много заради мадиамците и израилевите синове извикаха към ГОСПОДА.

And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the LORD.

И когато израилевите синове извикаха към ГОСПОДА заради мадиамците,

And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD because of the Midianites,

ГОСПОД изпрати до израилевите синове един пророк и той им каза: Така казва ГОСПОД, Израилевият Бог: Аз ви изведох от Египет и ви изведох от дома на робството;

That the LORD sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;

и ви избавих от ръката на египтяните и от ръката на всичките ви потисници, и ги изгоних пред вас, и ви дадох земята им.

And I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all that oppressed you, and drave them out from before you, and gave you their land;

И ви казах: Аз съм ГОСПОД, вашият Бог; да не се боите от боговете на аморейците, в чиято земя живеете. Но вие не послушахте гласа Ми.

And I said unto you, I am the LORD your God; fear not the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but ye have not obeyed my voice.

И Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН дойде и седна под дъба, който беше в Офра, който принадлежеше на авиезереца Йоас. А синът му Гедеон тъкмо чукаше жито в лина, за да го скрие от мадиамците.

And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abi–ezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites.

И Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН му се яви и му каза: ГОСПОД е с теб, силни и храбри!

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.

А Гедеон му каза: Моля те, Господи, ако ГОСПОД е с нас, защо ни постигна всичко това? И къде са всичките Му чудеса, за които бащите ни ни разказваха и говореха: Не ни ли изведе ГОСПОД от Египет? Но сега ГОСПОД ни е оставил и ни е предал в ръката на мадиамците.

And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.

А ГОСПОД се обърна към него и каза: Иди с тази твоя сила, и ще освободиш Израил от ръката на Мадиам. Не те ли изпратих Аз?

And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?

А той Му каза: Моля те, Господи! Как да освободя аз Израил? Ето, родът ми е най-слабият в Манасия и аз съм най-малкият в бащиния си дом.

And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.

И ГОСПОД му каза: Аз непременно ще бъда с теб и ще разбиеш мадиамците като един човек.

And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.

И той Му каза: Сега ако съм намерил благоволение пред Теб, покажи ми знамение, че Ти си, който говориш с мен!

And he said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, then shew me a sign that thou talkest with me.

Моля Те, не си отивай оттук, докато не дойда при Теб и не изнеса приноса си и не го положа пред Теб! И Той му каза: Ще чакам, докато се върнеш.

Depart not hence, I pray thee, until I come unto thee, and bring forth my present, and set it before thee. And he said, I will tarry until thou come again.

И Гедеон влезе и приготви едно яре и безквасен хляб от една ефа брашно. Месото сложи в кошница, а бульона в гърне и ги изнесе при него под дъба, и Му ги представи.

And Gideon went in, and made ready a kid, and unleavened cakes of an ephah of flour: the flesh he put in a basket, and he put the broth in a pot, and brought it out unto him under the oak, and presented it.

И Божият Ангел му каза: Вземи месото и безквасния хляб и ги сложи на тази скала, а бульона излей. И той направи така.

And the angel of God said unto him, Take the flesh and the unleavened cakes, and lay them upon this rock, and pour out the broth. And he did so.

И Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН простря края на жезъла, който беше в ръката Му, и докосна месото и безквасния хляб; и от скалата излезе огън и изгори месото и безквасния хляб. После Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН си отиде отпред очите му.

Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up fire out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight.

Тогава Гедеон видя, че беше Ангелът ГОСПОДЕН и Гедеон каза: Горко ми, Господи БОЖЕ — защото видях Ангела ГОСПОДЕН лице в лице!

And when Gideon perceived that he was an angel of the LORD, Gideon said, Alas, O Lord GOD! for because I have seen an angel of the LORD face to face.

А ГОСПОД му каза: Мир на теб! Не се бой, няма да умреш.

And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.

Тогава Гедеон издигна там олтар на ГОСПОДА и го нарече ГОСПОД е мир. И той е в Офра на авиезерците и до днес.

Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called it Jehovah–shalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abi–ezrites.

И в същата нощ ГОСПОД му каза: Вземи младия бик на баща си, втория бик, седемгодишния, и събори олтара на Ваал, който е на баща ти, и съсечи ашерата, която е при него;

And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it:

и издигни олтар на ГОСПОДА, своя Бог, на върха на тази скала според наредбата, и вземи втория бик, и принеси всеизгаряне с дървата на ашерата, която ще съсечеш.

And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.

И Гедеон взе десет мъже от слугите си и направи, както ГОСПОД му каза. Но понеже се боеше от бащиния си дом и от градските мъже да го направи през деня, направи го през нощта.

Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.

А когато градските мъже станаха рано сутринта, ето, олтарът на Ваал беше съборен и ашерата, която беше до него — съсечена, и вторият бик беше принесен във всеизгаряне на издигнатия олтар.

And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the grove was cut down that was by it, and the second bullock was offered upon the altar that was built.

И те си казаха един на друг: Кой е направил това? И като разследваха и разпитаха, се каза: Гедеон, синът на Йоас, е направил това.

And they said one to another, Who hath done this thing? And when they enquired and asked, they said, Gideon the son of Joash hath done this thing.

Тогава градските мъже казаха на Йоас: Изведи сина си, за да умре, понеже е съборил олтара на Ваал и понеже е съсякъл ашерата, която беше до него.

Then the men of the city said unto Joash, Bring out thy son, that he may die: because he hath cast down the altar of Baal, and because he hath cut down the grove that was by it.

А Йоас каза на всички, които стояха срещу него: Вие ли ще защитите Ваал? Или вие ли ще го избавите? Който го защити, да бъде умъртвен до сутринта. Ако е бог, нека сам се защити, след като Гедеон е съборил олтара му.

And Joash said unto all that stood against him, Will ye plead for Baal? will ye save him? he that will plead for him, let him be put to death whilst it is yet morning: if he be a god, let him plead for himself, because one hath cast down his altar.

Затова в онзи ден го нарекоха Ероваал, като казаха: Ваал да се защити срещу него, след като е съборил олтара му.

Therefore on that day he called him Jerubbaal, saying, Let Baal plead against him, because he hath thrown down his altar.

Тогава целият Мадиам и Амалик и източните жители се събраха заедно и преминаха Йордан, и се разположиха на стан в долината Езраел.

Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel.

А ГОСПОДНИЯТ Дух дойде върху Гедеон и той наду тръбата, и авиезерците се събраха след него.

But the Spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abi–ezer was gathered after him.

И той изпрати пратеници до целия Манасия, който също се събра след него. Изпрати пратеници и до Асир, Завулон и Нефталим и те дойдоха да ги посрещнат.

And he sent messengers throughout all Manasseh; who also was gathered after him: and he sent messengers unto Asher, and unto Zebulun, and unto Naphtali; and they came up to meet them.

И Гедеон каза на Бога: Ако ще освободиш Израил чрез ръката ми, както каза,

And Gideon said unto God, If thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said,

ето, аз ще сложа на хармана руно вълна; ако има роса само на руното, а по цялата земя е сухо, тогава ще позная, че ще освободиш Израил чрез ръката ми, както каза.

Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the fleece only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said.

Така и стана. И на другата сутрин стана рано и изстиска руното, и изцеди росата от руното — пълна чаша с вода.

And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the fleece together, and wringed the dew out of the fleece, a bowl full of water.

И Гедеон каза на Бога: Да не пламне гневът Ти против мен, но нека говоря само още веднъж: моля Те, нека да проверя само още веднъж с руното! Нека сега бъде сухо само върху руното, а по цялата земя нека има роса.

And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

И Бог направи така през онази нощ — беше сухо само върху руното, а по цялата земя имаше роса.

And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.
