John 5

След това имаше юдейски празник и Иисус се изкачи в Ерусалим.

After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

А в Ерусалим, близо до Овчата порта, се намира къпалня, наречена на еврейски Витесда, която има пет предверия.

Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.

В тях лежаха множество болни, слепи, куци и парализирани, (които чакаха да се раздвижи водата.

In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.

Защото от време на време ангел слизаше в къпалнята и раздвижваше водата; а който пръв влизаше след раздвижването на водата, оздравяваше, от каквато и болест да беше болен.)

For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.

И там имаше един човек, болен от тридесет и осем години.

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.

Иисус, като го видя да лежи и узна, че от дълго време вече е така, му каза: Искаш ли да оздравееш?

When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

Болният Му отговори: Господине, нямам човек да ме спусне в къпалнята, когато се раздвижи водата, а докато аз отида, друг слиза преди мен.

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.

Иисус му каза: Стани, вдигни постелката си и ходи.

Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.

И начаса човекът оздравя, вдигна постелката си и започна да ходи. А този ден беше събота.

And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

Затова юдеите казаха на изцеления: Събота е; не ти е позволено да носиш постелката си.

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed.

Но той им каза: Онзи, който ме изцели, Той ми каза: Вдигни постелката си и ходи.

He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk.

Попитаха го: Кой е Човекът, който ти каза: Вдигни постелката си и ходи?

Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk?

А изцеленият не знаеше кой е; защото Иисус се беше оттеглил заради множеството, което беше на онова място.

And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place.

По-късно Иисус го намери в храма и му каза: Ето, ти оздравя; не съгрешавай вече, за да не те сполети нещо по-лошо.

Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Човекът отиде и каза на юдеите, че Иисус е, който го изцели.

The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

Затова юдеите гонеха Иисус (и търсеха случай да Го убият), защото вършеше тези неща в събота.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.

А Иисус им отговори: Моят Отец работи досега, и Аз работя.

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

Затова юдеите искаха още повече да Го убият; защото не само отменяше съботата, а и наричаше Бога Свой Отец и така правеше Себе Си равен на Бога.

Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

Затова Иисус им каза: Истина, истина ви казвам: Синът не може да върши от само Себе Си нищо, освен това, което вижда да върши Отец; защото това, което Той върши, същото върши и Синът.

Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

Защото Отец обича Сина и Му показва всичко, което Сам върши; и ще Му показва по-големи дела и от тези, за да се чудите вие.

For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

Защото, както Отец възкресява мъртвите и ги съживява, така и Синът съживява тези, които иска.

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

Защото Отец не съди никого, а е предал целия съд на Сина,

For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

за да почитат всички Сина, както почитат Отца. Който не почита Сина, не почита Отца, който Го е пратил.

That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Истина, истина ви казвам: който слуша Моето слово и вярва в Този, който Ме е пратил, има вечен живот и няма да дойде на съд, а е преминал от смърт в живот.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Истина, истина ви казвам: идва часът, и сега е, когато мъртвите ще чуят гласа на Божия Син и които го чуят, ще живеят.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Защото, както Отец има живот в Себе Си, също така е дал и на Сина да има живот в Себе Си;

For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

и Му е дал власт да извършва съд, защото е Човешкият Син.

And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

Не се чудете на това; защото иде часът, когато всички, които са в гробовете, ще чуят гласа Му

Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

и ще излязат: онези, които са вършили добро, ще възкръснат за живот; а които са вършили зло, ще възкръснат за осъждане.

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Аз не мога да върша нищо от Себе Си; както чувам, така и съдя; и съдът Ми е справедлив, защото не търся Моята воля, а волята на Отца, който Ме е пратил.

I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Ако Аз свидетелствам за Себе Си, свидетелството Ми не е истинно.

If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

Друг е, който свидетелства за Мен; и Аз зная, че свидетелството, което Той дава за Мен, е истинно.

There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.

Вие пратихте до Йоан и той засвидетелства за истината.

Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.

Но Аз не приемам свидетелство от човек; а казвам това, за да се спасите вие.

But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.

Той беше светилото, което гореше и светеше; и вие пожелахте за малко време да се радвате в неговата светлина.

He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

Но Аз имам свидетелство по-голямо от това на Йоан; защото делата, които Отец Ми е дал да извърша, самите дела, които върша, свидетелстват за Мен, че Отец Ме е пратил.

But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

И Отец, който Ме е пратил, Той свидетелства за Мен. Вие нито сте чули гласа Му някога, нито образа Му сте видели.

And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

И нямате Неговото слово постоянно в себе си, защото не вярвате Този, когото Той е пратил.

And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

Вие изследвате Писанията, защото мислите, че в тях имате вечен живот; и те са, които свидетелстват за Мен,

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

а не искате да дойдете при Мен, за да имате живот.

And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

От хора слава не приемам;

I receive not honour from men.

но ви зная, че вие нямате в себе си Божията любов.

But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

Аз дойдох в Името на Своя Отец и не Ме приемате; но ако дойде друг в свое име, него ще приемете.

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

Как можете да повярвате вие, които приемате слава един от друг, а не търсите славата, която е от единия Бог?

How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

Не мислете, че Аз ще ви обвиня пред Отца; има един, който ви обвинява – Мойсей, на когото вие се надявате.

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.

Защото, ако вярвахте на Мойсей, щяхте да повярвате и на Мен; понеже той за Мен писа.

For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.

Но ако не вярвате на неговите писания, как ще повярвате на Моите думи?

But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
