Isaiah 28

Горко на горделивия венец на ефремовите пияници и на повехналия цвят на славната му красота, който е на върха на тлъстата долина на победените от виното!

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

Ето, ГОСПОД има един мощен и силен, като буря с град и опустошителна вихрушка, като буря от силни прелели води поваля с ръка на земята.

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

С крака ще се тъпче горделивият венец на ефремовите пияници.

The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

И повехналият цвят на славната им красота, който е на върха на тлъстата долина, ще стане като ранната й смокиня преди лятото, която, щом я вземе в ръка онзи, който я види, я поглъща.

And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

В онзи ден ГОСПОД на Войнствата ще бъде славен венец и красива корона за остатъка от народа Си,

In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

и дух на правосъдие за онзи, който седи да съди, и сила за тези, които отблъсват битката до портата.

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

Но и тези се клатушкат от вино и се заблудиха от спиртно питие; свещеник и пророк се клатушкат от спиртно питие, обладани са от вино, заблудиха се от спиртно питие, клатушкат се във видението, препъват се в съденето,

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

защото всичките трапези са пълни с бълвоч и нечистота, така че няма място.

For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

Кого да научи на знание? На кого да даде да разбере посланието? Отбитите от мляко ли? Отделените от гърди ли?

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Защото дава заповед след заповед, заповед след заповед, правило след правило, правило след правило, тук малко, там малко.

For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

Наистина с гъгниви устни и с друг език ще говори на този народ

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Онзи, който им каза: Това е почивката, успокойте уморения; и това е отдихът! — но те не желаеха да слушат.

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

Затова словото ГОСПОДНО ще стане за тях заповед след заповед, заповед след заповед, правило след правило, правило след правило, тук малко, там малко — за да ходят и да паднат по гръб и да се разбият, да се впримчат и да се хванат.

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Затова слушайте словото ГОСПОДНО, вие присмивачи, властници на този народ, който е в Ерусалим.

Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

Понеже казахте: Сключихме завет със смъртта и направихме договор с Шеол — когато заливащото бедствие минава, да не дойде до нас, защото си направихме лъжата прибежище и се скрихме в измамата.

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Затова, така казва Господ БОГ: Ето, Аз полагам в Сион камък за основа, избран камък, скъпоценен крайъгълен камък, здрава основа; който вярва в Него, няма да бърза страхливо.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

Ще направя правосъдието мерителна връв и правдата — везна; и градушка ще помете прибежището при лъжата и води ще залеят скривалището.

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

Заветът ви със смъртта ще бъде унищожен и договорът ви с Шеол няма да устои. Когато заливащото бедствие минава, ще бъдете стъпкани от него.

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Колкото пъти минава, ще ви хваща; защото сутрин след сутрин ще минава, денем и нощем; и само слухът за него да чуе някой, ще се ужаси.

From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

Защото леглото е твърде късо, за да се изтегне някой и завивката е твърде тясна, за да се завие някой.

For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

Защото ГОСПОД ще стане както на хълма Ферасим, ще се разгневи както в долината Гаваон, за да направи делото Си, чудното Си дело, и да извърши работата Си, удивителната Си работа.

For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

И сега не се присмивайте, да не би да се стегнат оковите ви по-здраво; защото чух за погубление, предрешено от Господа БОГА на Войнствата, над цялата земя.

Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

Дайте ухо и слушайте гласа ми; внимавайте и слушайте какво говоря!

Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Орачът всеки ден ли оре, за да посее? Всеки ден ли разтваря бразди и разбива буците на нивата си?

Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

Когато изравни лицето й, не пръска ли копър и не посява ли кимион, не сее ли жито в редове и ечемика на определеното му място, и бяло жито наоколо?

When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

Защото неговият Бог го учи да постъпва правилно и го поучава.

For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

Защото не се вършее копър с диканя и кола не се върти върху кимиона, а копърът се очуква с тояга и кимионът — с прът.

For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

А хлебното жито се стрива. Защото човек не го вършее постоянно и не го стрива с колелото на колата си, и не го раздробява с копитата на конете си.

Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

И това също произлиза от ГОСПОДА на Войнствата, който е чудесен в съвет, превъзходен в мъдрост.

This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.
