II Kings 21

Манасия беше на дванадесет години, когато се възцари, и царува петдесет и пет години в Ерусалим. Името на майка му беше Ефсива.

Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzi–bah.

Той върши зло пред ГОСПОДА според мерзостите на народите, които ГОСПОД беше изгонил пред израилевите синове.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

Той устрои наново високите места, които баща му Езекия беше съборил, издигна жертвеници на Ваал и направи ашера, както беше направил израилевият цар Ахав, и се кланяше на цялото небесно множество и им служеше.

For he built up again the high places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Baal, and made a grove, as did Ahab king of Israel; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

Построи и жертвеници в ГОСПОДНИЯ дом, за който ГОСПОД беше казал: В Ерусалим ще поставя Името Си.

And he built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.

Построи жертвеници и на цялото небесно войнство в двата двора на ГОСПОДНИЯ дом.

And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

И преведе сина си през огъня, и се занимаваше с окултизъм и гадания, и се допитваше до запитвачи на духове и врачове. Той извърши много зло пред ГОСПОДА и Го разгневи.

And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

И изваяния идол на ашерата, който направи, постави в дома, за който ГОСПОД беше казал на Давид и на сина му Соломон: В този дом и в Ерусалим, който избрах от всичките израилеви племена, ще поставя Името Си до века!

And he set a graven image of the grove that he had made in the house, of which the LORD said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

И няма вече да направя крака на Израил да се лута вън от земята, която дадох на бащите им, ако само внимават да вършат всичко, което им заповядах, според целия закон, който им заповяда слугата Ми Мойсей.

Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.

Но те не послушаха и Манасия ги подмами да вършат повече зло от народите, които ГОСПОД беше изтребил пред израилевите синове.

But they hearkened not: and Manasseh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the LORD destroyed before the children of Israel.

Тогава ГОСПОД говори чрез слугите Си, пророците, и каза:

And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying,

Понеже юдовият цар Манасия направи тези мерзости и извърши повече зло от всичко, което извършиха аморейците, които бяха преди него, и въведе и Юда в грях чрез идолите си,

Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:

затова, така казва ГОСПОД, Израилевият Бог: Ето Аз нанасям такова зло на Ерусалим и на Юда, че на всеки, който чуе за него, ще му писнат и двете уши.

Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

И ще простра върху Ерусалим мерителната връв на Самария и отвеса на Ахавовия дом. И ще изтрия Ерусалим, както се изтрива блюдо — изтрива се и се обръща наопаки.

And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.

И ще отхвърля остатъка от наследството Си и ще ги предам в ръката на враговете им, и те ще бъдат разграбени и плячкосани от всичките си врагове,

And I will forsake the remnant of mine inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

защото вършиха зло пред Мен и Ме разгневяваха от деня, когато бащите им излязоха от Египет, до днес.

Because they have done that which was evil in my sight, and have provoked me to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.

Освен това Манасия проля и твърде много невинна кръв, докато напълни Ерусалим от край до край, освен греха, с който въведе Юда в грях да върши зло пред ГОСПОДА.

Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

А останалите дела на Манасия и всичко, което направи, и грехът му, който извърши, не са ли записани в Книгата на летописите на юдовите царе?

Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he sinned, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

И Манасия легна при бащите си и беше погребан в градината на къщата си, в градината на Оза. А вместо него се възцари синът му Амон.

And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

Амон беше на двадесет и две години, когато се възцари, и царува две години в Ерусалим. Името на майка му бе Месулемета, дъщеря на Арус от Йотева.

Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

Той върши зло пред ГОСПОДА, както беше правил баща му Манасия.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.

Ходи във всичките пътища, в които беше ходил баща му, и служи на идолите, на които беше служил баща му, и им се кланяше.

And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:

И остави ГОСПОДА, Бога на бащите си, и не ходи в ГОСПОДНИЯ път.

And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.

А слугите на Амон направиха заговор против него и убиха царя в къщата му.

And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.

Тогава народът на страната изби всички, които бяха направили заговора против цар Амон, и народът на страната направи сина му Йосия цар вместо него.

And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

А останалите дела, които извърши Амон, не са ли записани в Книгата на летописите на юдовите царе?

Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

И го погребаха в гроба му в градината на Оза. А вместо него се възцари синът му Йосия.

And he was buried in his sepulchre in the garden of Uzza: and Josiah his son reigned in his stead.
