I Kings 22

И минаха три години без война между Арам и Израил.

And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.

А в третата година юдовият цар Йосафат слезе при израилевия цар.

And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.

И израилевият цар каза на слугите си: Знаете ли, че Рамот-Галаад е наш, а ние си мълчим и не го вземаме от ръката на арамейския цар?

And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

И той каза на Йосафат: Ще дойдеш ли с мен на бой в Рамот-Галаад? И Йосафат каза на израилевия цар: Аз съм като теб, моят народ — като твоя народ, моите коне — като твоите коне.

And he said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramoth–gilead? And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

И Йосафат каза на израилевия цар: Моля те, допитай се първо до ГОСПОДНОТО слово.

And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the LORD to day.

Тогава израилевият цар събра пророците, около четиристотин мъже, и им каза: Да отида ли на бой срещу Рамот-Галаад, или да не отида? А те казаха: Изкачи се, и Господ ще го предаде в ръката на царя!

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramoth–gilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

Но Йосафат каза: Тук няма ли повече ГОСПОДЕН пророк, за да се допитаме чрез него?

And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD besides, that we might enquire of him?

И израилевият цар каза на Йосафат: Има още един човек, чрез когото можем да се допитаме до ГОСПОДА, но аз го мразя, защото не пророкува добро за мен, а само зло — Михей, сина на Емла. А Йосафат каза: Нека не говори така царят!

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

Тогава израилевият цар повика един скопец и каза: Доведи бързо Михей, сина на Емла.

Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.

А израилевият цар и юдовият цар Йосафат седяха всеки на престола си, облечени в одеждите си, на едно открито място при входа на самарийската порта и всичките пророци пророкуваха пред тях.

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

Тогава Седекия, синът на Ханаана, си направи железни рогове и каза: Така казва ГОСПОД: С тези ще бодеш арамейците, докато ги довършиш.

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.

И всичките пророци пророкуваха така и казваха: Изкачи се в Рамот-Галаад и ще успееш, защото ГОСПОД ще го предаде в ръката на царя.

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth–gilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the king's hand.

И пратеникът, който отиде да повика Михей, му говори и каза: Ето сега, думите на пророците единодушно са добри за царя. Моля те, нека и твоята дума да бъде като думата на един от тях, и ти говори добро!

And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.

А Михей каза: Жив е ГОСПОД — каквото ми каже ГОСПОД, това ще говоря!

And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, what the LORD saith unto me, that will I speak.

И когато дойде при царя, царят му каза: Михей, да отидем ли на бой в Рамот-Галаад, или да не отидем? А той му каза: Изкачи се и ще успееш, защото ГОСПОД ще го предаде в ръката на царя.

So he came to the king. And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramoth–gilead to battle, or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

Тогава царят му каза: Колко пъти да те заклевам да не ми говориш нищо друго освен истината в ГОСПОДНОТО Име!

And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?

Тогава той каза: Видях целия Израил пръснат по планините като овце, които нямат овчар. И ГОСПОД каза: Тези нямат господар. Нека се върнат всеки у дома си с мир.

And he said, I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

Тогава израилевият цар каза на Йосафат: Не ти ли казах, че няма да пророкува добро за мен, а зло?

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?

А Михей каза: Затова чуй ГОСПОДНОТО слово: Видях ГОСПОДА, седнал на престола Си, и цялото небесно войнство стоеше около Него от дясната Му страна и от лявата Му страна.

And he said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

И ГОСПОД каза: Кой ще примами Ахав, за да се изкачи и да падне в Рамот-Галаад? И един каза едно, а друг каза друго.

And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth–gilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

Тогава излезе един дух и застана пред ГОСПОДА, и каза: Аз ще го примамя.

And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

И ГОСПОД му каза: Как? А той каза: Ще изляза и ще бъда лъжлив дух в устата на всичките му пророци. И ГОСПОД каза: Примами го и ще сполучиш; излез и направи така.

And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

И сега, ето, ГОСПОД е сложил лъжлив дух в устата на всички тези твои пророци и ГОСПОД е говорил зло за теб.

Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.

Тогава Седекия, синът на Ханаана, се приближи и удари Михей по бузата, и каза: Откъде мина ГОСПОДНИЯТ дух от мен, за да говори на теб?

But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee?

А Михей каза: Ето, ще видиш това в онзи ден, когато ще бягаш от стая в стая, за да се криеш.

And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.

Тогава израилевият цар каза: Хвани Михей и го върни при градоначалника Амон и при царския син Йоас;

And the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;

и кажи: Така казва царят: Хвърлете този в затвора и го хранете с хляб на скръб и вода на скръб, докато се върна в мир.

And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.

А Михей каза: Ако някога се върнеш в мир, ГОСПОД не е говорил чрез мен. И каза: Чуйте, всички народи!

And Micaiah said, If thou return at all in peace, the LORD hath not spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.

И израилевият цар и юдовият цар Йосафат се изкачиха в Рамот-Галаад.

So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramoth–gilead.

И израилевият цар каза на Йосафат: Аз ще се предреша и ще вляза в битката, а ти облечи одеждите си. Така израилевият цар се предреши и влезе в битката.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.

А арамейският цар беше заповядал на тридесет и двамата началници на колесниците си и беше казал: Не се бийте нито с малък, нито с голям, а само с израилевия цар!

But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

И когато началниците на колесниците видяха Йосафат, казаха: Сигурно това е израилевият цар! — и се отклониха към него, за да се бият. Но Йосафат извика,

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.

и когато началниците на колесниците видяха, че не беше израилевият цар, го оставиха и не го преследваха.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.

А един човек запъна лъка си, без да цели, и улучи израилевия цар между ставите на бронята му. И той каза на водача на колесницата си: Обърни ръцете си и ме изведи от битката, защото съм ранен.

And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

И в онзи ден битката се засили; и царят се удържа прав в колесницата срещу арамейците, а вечерта умря и кръвта от раната течеше на дъното на колесницата.

And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

И при залез слънце през стана се разнесе вик и се каза: Всеки в града си и всеки в земята си!

And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.

Така царят умря и го докараха в Самария и погребаха царя в Самария.

So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.

После измиха колесницата при самарийския водоем и кучетата лижеха кръвта му, където се къпеха блудниците, според словото на ГОСПОДА, което Той беше говорил.

And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the LORD which he spake.

А останалите дела на Ахав и всичко, което той извърши, и къщата от слонова кост, която построи, и всичките градове, които построи, не са ли записани в Книгата на летописите на израилевите царе?

Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

И Ахав легна при бащите си, а вместо него се възцари синът му Охозия.

So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

А Йосафат, синът на Аса, се възцари над Юда в четвъртата година на израилевия цар Ахав.

And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.

Йосафат беше на тридесет и пет години, когато се възцари, и царува двадесет и пет години в Ерусалим. Името на майка му беше Азува, дъщеря на Силей.

Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.

Той ходи във всичките пътища на баща си Аса; не се отклони от тях, като вършеше това, което беше право пред ГОСПОДА. Само високите места не се премахнаха; народът още жертваше и кадеше по високите места.

And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the LORD: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places.

И Йосафат имаше мир с израилевия цар.

And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.

А останалите дела на Йосафат и юначествата, които извърши, и как воюваше, не са ли записани в Книгата на летописите на юдовите царе?

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

И той измете от земята остатъка от посветените блудници, които бяха останали във времето на баща му Аса.

And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.

А тогава в Едом нямаше цар; един управител беше цар.

There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king.

Йосафат направи тарсийски кораби, за да отидат в Офир за злато, но не отидоха, защото корабите се разбиха в Есион-Гавер.

Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Ezion–geber.

Тогава Охозия, синът на Ахав, каза на Йосафат: Нека моите слуги отидат с твоите слуги на корабите. Но Йосафат не се съгласи.

Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.

И Йосафат легна при бащите си и беше погребан при бащите си в града на баща си Давид, а вместо него се възцари синът му Йорам.

And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

Охозия, синът на Ахав, се възцари над Израил в Самария в седемнадесетата година на юдовия цар Йосафат и царува над Израил две години.

Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.

Той върши зло пред ГОСПОДА и ходи в пътя на баща си и в пътя на майка си, и в пътя на Еровоам, сина на Нават, който въведе Израил в грях.

And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:

И той служи на Ваал и му се поклони, и разгневи ГОСПОДА, Израилевия Бог, според всичко, което беше вършил баща му.

For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.
