Adam, Sheth, Enosh,

Каинан, Маалалеил, Яред,

Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,

Енох, Матусал, Ламех,

Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

Ной, Сим, Хам и Яфет.

Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Синове на Яфет: Гомер и Магог, и Мадай, и Яван, и Тувал, и Мосох, и Тирас.

The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

Синове на Гомер: Асханаз и Дифат и Тогарма.

And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

Синове на Яван: Елиса и Тарсис, и Китим, и Доданим.

And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

Синове на Хам: Хус и Мицраим, Фут и Ханаан.

The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

Синове на Хус: Сева и Евила, и Савта, и Раама, и Савтека. Синове на Раама: Сава и Дедан.

And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

И Хус роди Нимрод; той пръв стана силен на земята.

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.

А Мицраим роди лудимите и анамимите, и леавимите, и нафтухимите,

And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

и патрусимите, и каслухимите, от които произлязоха филистимците, и кафторимите.

And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.

А Ханаан роди първородния си Сидон и Хета,

And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

и евусейците, аморейците, гергесейците,

The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

евейците, арукейците, асенейците,

And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

арвадците, цемарейците и аматейците.

And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

Синове на Сим: Елам и Асур, и Арфаксад, и Луд, и Арам, и Уз, и Ул, и Гетер, и Мосох.

The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

И Арфаксад роди Сала, а Сала роди Евер.

And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

И на Евер се родиха двама сина; името на единия беше Фалек, защото в неговите дни се раздели земята, а името на брат му беше Йоктан.

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.

А Йоктан роди Алмодад и Шалеф, и Хацармавет, и Ярах,

And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

и Адорам, и Узал, и Дикла,

Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,

и Гевал, и Авимаил, и Сава,

And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

и Офир, и Евила, и Йовав; всички тези бяха синове на Йоктан.

And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

Сим, Арфаксад, Сала,

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

Евер, Фалек, Рагав,

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

Серух, Нахор, Тара,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

Аврам, който е Авраам.

Abram; the same is Abraham.

Синовете на Авраам: Исаак и Исмаил.

The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.

Ето техните родословия: Първородният на Исмаил: Наваиот; и Кидар и Адвеил, и Мавсам,

These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

Масма и Дума, Маса, Адад и Тема,

Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

Етур, Нафис и Кедма; тези са синове на Исмаил.

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

А ето синовете на Хетура, наложницата на Авраам: тя роди Земран и Йоксан, и Мадан, и Мадиам, и Есвок, и Шуах. Синове на Йоксан: Сава и Дедан.

Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.

Синове на Мадиам: Гефа и Ефер, и Енох, и Авида, и Елдага. Всички тези бяха синове на Хетура.

And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

И Авраам роди Исаак. Синове на Исаак: Исав и Израил.

And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.

Синове на Исав: Елифаз, Рагуил и Еус, и Еглом, и Корей.

The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

Синове на Елифаз: Теман и Омар, Сефи и Готом, Кенез и Тамна, и Амалик.

The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

Синове на Рагуил: Нахат, Зара, Сама и Миза.

The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

Синове на Сиир: Лотан и Совал, и Севегон, и Ана, и Дисон, и Асар, и Дисан.

And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

Синове на Лотан: Хори и Омам; а сестра на Лотан беше Тамна.

And the sons of Lotan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.

Синове на Совал: Алиан и Манахат, и Гевал, Сефи и Онам. Синове на Севегон: Ая и Ана.

The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.

Синове на Ана: Дисон. Синове на Дисон: Амадан и Асван, и Итрам, и Харан.

The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

Синове на Асар: Валаан и Заван, и Акан. Синове на Дисан: Уз и Аран.

The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.

А ето царете, които царуваха в едомската земя, преди да се възцари цар над израилевите синове: Вела, син на Веор, а името на града му беше Денава.

Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

И Вела умря, а вместо него се възцари Йовав, синът на Зара, от Восора.

And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

И Йовав умря, а вместо него се възцари Хусам, от земята на теманците.

And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

И Хусам умря, а вместо него се възцари Адад, синът на Вадад, който разби мадиамците на моавското поле; а името на града му беше Авит.

And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

И Адад умря, а вместо него се възцари Самла от Масрека.

And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

И Самла умря, а вместо него се възцари Саул от Роовот при реката.

And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

И Саул умря, а вместо него се възцари Вааланан, синът на Аховор.

And when Shaul was dead, Baal–hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

И Вааланан умря, а вместо него се възцари Адад. Името на града му беше Пау, а името на жена му — Метавеил, дъщеря на Метред, дъщеря на Мезаав.

And when Baal–hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

И Адад умря. А едомските князе бяха: княз Тамна, княз Алия, княз Етет,

Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

княз Оливема, княз Ила, княз Финон,

Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

княз Кенез, княз Теман, княз Мивсар,

Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,

княз Магедиил, княз Ирам. Тези са едомските князе.

Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
